Help finding a calorie counting video
I’m looking for a video I saw here long ago that had a guy showing the “same” meals. He was highlighting the importance of weighing your foods because the portions all looked the same but the calorie count at the end was wildly different. I think there were sandwiches, apples, granola etc in it. Thank you in advance!

Macros and calories question
I’m very confused this morning. I just reviewed my nutrition from yesterday and the day before. Yesterday I ate more carbs, more fat, and more protein than Tuesday yet my diary is showing that I consumed several hundred fewer calories. This isn’t possible,right?

Been sick for a while- getting back up stinks
Hi all, I've been ill for a few weeks so I wasn't running/lifting. Finally started working again at 100% but went for my first post-flu run today and whoa- it's like I'm at square one. How long does it take you to get back to normal after this kind of bull?

Why do we lose lean muscle when on a deficit?
Does anyone know the science behind this? I cannot wrap my head around the fact that my body will chew through muscles before the 175,000 (!) spare calories that I'm already schleppinng along as fat.

Smart tip I learned from a pharmacist
Makes great sense and it works for me: If you're trying to lose weight then check the scale only 2-4 times per month. This way, you see bigger motivating numbers If you're maintaining weight then check the scale every morning. This way, you can catch any little changes and make small, easier adjustments right away.

entering "accidental" workouts
So I find myself adding up my little spurts of walking at work, snow shoveling, and household chores. Are these the kind of calories that are previously factored into the "lightly active" lifestyle? I know I'm adding them to smile at the "you'd weight XX in 5 weeks". Anyone else? Best Wishes!

I'm getting concerned that I'm losing weight too fast. Worst fear is that it's muscle weight. I was off my feet for 3 weeks because of an ankle injury so I was doing a lot of upper body resistance. Help! Can't jog for 3 weeks as per the doc
Gah! Apparently old gymnastics injuries, poor stretching habits, and bad shoes have led to tendonitis and issues in my calf.
