My target weight is 135 lbs (I'm 5'5"). It was what I weighed 2 years ago when my clothes fit well. As I get closer to that number, I'm realizing I may need to lower it a bit as I still have a lot of fat around my waist.

I agree, I also need a goal date to stay motivated. Maybe Thanksgiving so I can overindulge a little without too much guilt. My motivation is to get rid of the muffin top when wearing jeans, I'm tired of wearing flowy tops to hide it! ha!
