We want to take a moment to inform you about some changes that will be made to the posting pages. In addition to a visual overhaul, a few features will be relocated, and some will receive…

Feature Suggestion Submission Guidelines
We love when our members help us try to improve. To ensure our product team can use your suggestions, we have a couple of guidelines, to ensure you get the best out of this section:* It is essential all ideas include a user story, that is, what is the problem and why you think this feature is needed. We are careful not to…

Bring back old layout
The new version of the app is awful to use. It’s much harder to view and add items, and copying previous foods is a hassle. This change makes no sense, it’s a stupid update that ruins the user experience just for the sake of appearance.

New food diary is inaccurate GO BACK TO OLDER VERSION!
On my iphone, I enter my food into a meal and it does not show up on the daily food diary. However the food is listed in the daily summary under progress/calories. The new daily layout is also terrible. Each food line is too large so you have to scroll down to see more than just a few entries, that is if all the entries…

Give us back the interim site
You allowed us to use the interim site which was 1,000 times better then the 1980's you have put us back to until you can role out the new version. This was a poor move on your part and should have been given more thought. RESTORE THE INTERIM SITE!!!

Improved food search
MFP likes to acknowledge the millions of items in its database, which is fine, even though a large number are no longer usable because they are so out of date. I'm sure many people become frustrated trying to discern the accuracy of items displayed from a search. MFP could make it easier by: (1) Displaying an exact match…

Option to Clear or Manage the “Deleted Foods” List
I’d like to request a long over-due feature that allows users to permanently 'clear' or manage the “Deleted Foods” list. Currently, foods that are deleted can only be restored, but they cannot be removed from the Deleted Foods list itself. Over time, this list grows endlessly (17 pages in my case), which makes it cluttered…

Tired of hunting for an item in the database list for use in the food diary?
Because there are exhaustive similar database item names for selecting an entry (for your item) can be a long process, why not allow the user a familiar manner to navigate the list using selective nutrition elements? When I navigate through the list, I pay most attention to the calories element because I know I don't want…

Social Media and Friend Timeline Feature
I think it would be incredible if you could connect with friends and watch their progress from an automated feed of just people linked to you. This would allow people to get close with others who have similar goals and hold each other accountable for their goals. They could post about their progress and show only to their…

Met à Nice person who seemed interested in my diet
I started talking to a person named Tom Jones who questioned my eating habits and he seemed nice. I was happy to share,, however after telling me about an army and sending pictures of his fake/ real kids- he asked me for 1000$. I don't think it was him,, I think he'd been hacked. He was in the army (apparently) in a…

Added vs. Natural sugar meter
Throughout the day, most of the sugars I eat are from fruits, but the meter combines the two kinds under a general tab. I’d like to be able assess how much added sugar (the one that actually needs to be limited) I consume without needing to manually do the math.

Newsfeed
Dear MFP Developers, I suggest you reinstate and upgrade the individual newsfeed. For me, this was the main distinguishing feature of the platform from its rivals. And, calorie counting apps are becoming a crowded field! In my opinion, the Community pages are not a replacement for the newsfeed, which created a…

Disable streaks
Why is there no way to disable streaks? I’m so sick of casually using this app and each streak, I get popups after the first entry. It gets soooo old. I’ve had 180 day streaks before, IDGAF about these little ones

Bring back the old Today view
The new Today screen doesn't allow for viewing all of the day's meals in one scrollable view like it did before the latest update. Now we need to click into each meal grouping individually. This is terribly cumbersome and doesn't give a holistic view of the day. Personally, this new interface makes the app unusable for me.…

Time stamps for entries
I wish there was a time stamp by the food and water entries. I sometimes lose track of whether I have entered my current bottle of water, and if I could look at the water entries and see I entered 2 cups of water at 3:15pm for example, I would know I’d already done it. It would be helpful with food because then I’d know…

Integration Suggestion: Sync Tovala Meal QR Codes with MyFitnessPal
Hi MyFitnessPal Team, I’d love to suggest a new integration that would add significant value for users who track their meals using Tovala smart oven meals. Currently, each Tovala meal includes a QR code for cooking—if MyFitnessPal could integrate with Tovala to also recognize these QR codes for automatic nutrition logging,…

I'm not feeling the new update yet but what is really frustrating is I can't find where to log my fast. Can anyone tell me where it is? I have been searching for an hour and can't find it. Thanks!

My recipe improvement
would it be possible to show the recipe and number of portions created? A few times I have made batches of things but forgotten how many portions I think they include. For example soups which vary a bit according to what I have.

Extra cell
Good morning, It would be nice to have a cell where we could add a daily note. Something where we can track a personal status, it could be a broken leg, a trip, a holiday, a lot of stress, medications… gaining weight isn’t always linked to food only. What do you think? Thanks

Ability to write what the quick add was
when scanning a barcode and it doesn’t register I will use quick add with the calorie info from the label it would be good to be able to write what that was for future reference wwtc

Add Fiber to Food Diary
There's plenty of room on the Food Diary for a Fiber column. Being able to calculate Net Carbs is very important. Fiber prevents spikes in blood sugar, helps you feel full longer and promotes healthier bowel movements. All nutrition labels show the fiber count. Tallying only Carbohydrates just isn't all that important to…

Add Fiber Percentage/Value
Is it possible to add the percentage of fiber in a breakfast, lunch, dinner, or snack meal alongside carbs, fats, and protein?

Recipe Split Improvement Idea
I want to suggest that, for the recipes I create, I would like to be able to input a portion of, for example, 5.5 portions, not just 5 or 6. Sometimes, it doesn’t quite workout to be 6 for example and I want to be able to have 5 full portions and one half portion, which MyFitnessPal would auto calculate for me, then I…

Go back to what you had before the last ipdate
the app used to be very simple and much more informative. The dashboard had all the info you needed in one place and focussed only on the current day. Why did you eliminate the dashboard and put in 7 days worth of useless info that requires 6 or 7 steps to add meal information. This is probably the worst “upgrade” I have…
-
Bulk Recipe Import for Easy Calorie Tracking
Add a text paste feature to MyFitnessPal that allows users to copy and paste entire recipe ingredient lists at once. The app would automatically parse the ingredients, identify the foods and quantities, and calculate total nutrition information without requiring users to manually enter each item individually or use voice…

Bring back and improve the confetti
On the phone app, there used to be a lovely bit of confetti if I entered a lower weight at check-in. What happened to this? Please consider reviving this feature, and make it so that you can set whether confetti goes off for gaining or for losing weight (assuming that some folks want to gain weight, though it seems likely…

Dashboard
Please consider allowing an option to turn off the dashboard on each app load. It is not interesting when it and all of the pop ups that come with it, are forced on users over and over and over through the day. It is a huge nuisance to have multiple clicks and extra screen loading time literally ever time this app…

Need a way to handle deleted foods
II don't see a way to delete or recover deleted foods and there's never been a way to manage the deleted foods list ( i.e., alphabetically sort the list, remove something permanently). Long overdue improvement needed!

Allow to copy any meal from any day to any meal of today
So in the past, we were able to copy any meal of any day into the corresponding meal of "today" and move the ingredients to a different meal. Main use case was when eating leftovers at lunch from a dinner done the days before, or copy a breakfast from a few days prior as, like many people, I have a few regular breakie but…
