Weed out the incomplete entries in the Food database especially those missing Potassium content

I've found a lot of the entries in the food database are incomplete but marked with a green badge. Nutrients like potassium are often zero for foods that have a significant amount of it. I really need to watch my potassium and have trouble finding the right green badge entry listing it.
I do vote that those not containing it are incomplete, but it's a game of "wack-a-mole"…

We have an entire team of people working on doing just that- I would encourage you to Report any foods that are inaccurate or incomplete in the app or the website.

I do that Durden for everyone I find. But there are a whole lot of them!

I rarely see potassium listed on food labels, a lot of the time the information is not at hand to be entered when creating a food.

Totally- that's the issue on our end as well! It's a lot of data to go through.

I think this is my issue. The UK lists different nutrients to the US apparently - if the incomplete entries are removed then they will likely be re-entered by people like me. As I will still need to track - I just can’t add things which aren’t listed on packaged foods 🤷♂️

Actually it's usually listed but not in the main section of the Nutrition Facts label. It's almost always in the fine print below it.

nope. Not on everything in the UK. This is what many labels have. How am I supposed to enter potassium??

Well, actually, this is an international site, and not all nations' labelling requirements are the same :)
I've been reading labels for a lot of years.

It's only been required on all US labels since 2021 IIRC, from regs published in around 2016. Quite a few US entries in the database are older than that.
I'm torn: I'd like to see diverse dietary requirements for health conditions supported better, but I'd also hate to see a lot of foods that are in the database deleted when people have used those in their diaries in the past. Depending on the database architecture under the covers, people could lose history. I've been here since 2015, and my logged meals are still accessible to me with premium MFP.
