Why does my app not synchronizing with changes I made via browser?

On the free trial, but want to upgrade it to premium plus
when I go to upgrade it looks like it overrides the free trial and is asking for payment today. Is that correct? I’d like to trial the full app at premium plus level for the month, so don’t want to be billed today I don’t know how to upgrade without accepting the payment terms.

Increasing Protein goal
It was recommended to increase protein while on my current med to 0 .7 times my current weight. This would be 123 gm for me. The MFP calculated goal is only 60, 20%. Do I need Premium in order to adjust this in my goal? And if I increase the protein what other part of my goal has to decrease ? Thanks for your help!
