Premium vs regular
Can you still use the barcode to enter food without going premium? I want to see if I will use this everyday before trying premium. It seems like about everything I try it forces me to look at premium plans and when I exit, the same thing happens again. How can I just use the regular way for a time?

We don't seem to have a chocolate thread - at least not a recent one - though many people seem to like chocolate, and continue to eat some while losing weight and/or maintaining. From reading, it seems like a common strategy is to go to higher-quality chocolate, in smaller portions. This is a thread to talk about great,…

Premium is worth the money
I rejoined MFP a few days ago. The last time I was on here until a few days ago was 2020. I paid for one month's worth of premium to see how I'd like it on one month. I gave it a try today because of the meal scanner where you take a photo of your meal and MFP calculates it for you. I took a photo of my plate of food this…

I am really trying hard to make sure I follow the rules of portions and nutritional value of the food I am eating now. It is important for me to really pay attention to cholesterol and fats as well. I also am finding that it takes up a part of my day to pay attention to detail like this. Meat especially makes me realize…

Healthy Fats vs just fats
Has there been any consideration of breaking fats down to capture different fat types? I get a lot of fats from whole food (Avacado, nuts, seeds, plant- based milk) vs other (meat, dairy, …). After tracking for a couple months I find exceeding my goals for fats doesn’t necessarily hurt my weight goals since healthy fats…

False information
It is illegal to put false information on nutrition facts labels so I firmly believe that your information on Coke zero is wrong as the label clearly states there are zero calories per bottle and if they don't put the right information on, they will and can be fined
