Volume Eaters Thread
I have recently come to the conclusion that volume eating is best suited for me. Eating mainly vegetarian means I can eat copious amounts of food and stay in my calorie goal. Are there others out there who do the same? Let's exchange ideas. Here is what I ate today: Breakfast, large shake with 2 cups spinach, almond milk,…

How much protein do you drink in a day?
So, I’ve been gradually losing weight, I’ve been pretty consistent hitting the weights this year, however despite me being overweight, I don’t have much muscle mass. That led me to do a deep dive into my past eating habits to really analyze my eating patterns and I’ve learned a lot about myself. So my goal is not only to…

Sodium / Salt
After a good few years I come back to MyFitnessPal to find nothing has been done to this fiasco. There are so many incorrect entries because people think salt and sodium are the same. Why doesn’t MyFitnessPal let the user decide which to use, much like a weather app lets u use either farenheight or centigrade. People are…

Nutrition values aren't matching
2 things I have each morning are a yogurt and a premier protein shake. The app stopped recording vitamin A values on both. Carbs and sodium are also incorrect on both. Very close but slightly off.

Tips for Eating Out
I just reread a sticky thread about how to eat out. I’ll add my tricks and hope others will follow me. First I make sure I don’t enter the restaurant really hungry by eating one of the foods that fill me up. My go-to is oatmeal or protein powder (Muscle Milk). Secondly because I eat out fairly frequently my go-to lunch or…

If it didn't have calories, right now I would eat...
What are you craving? Food porn photos get bonus points. I'd demolish a family-sized bag of Salt and Vinegar Lay's potato chips. At least until my tongue was raw.

Iron from red meat
Why doesn’t the app tell me how much iron I get from red meat? Eg I entered 150g beef eye fillet and it came up as nil iron, which is clearly not correct. It’s happened to me before with other meats eg bacon.

Phosphorus tracking
I’ve recently been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and one of the dietary nutrients to monitor is phosphorus. Many food labels show this nutrient. Can this be added as a nutrient to be tracked in the app. I’ve read that 1 in 7 US adults have chronic kidney. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

For the love of Produce...
I’ve been a produce *kitten* for years and years. My ‘Apple thing’ is notorious among friends and family. That’s the one enduring phase (current obsessions are Koru, Pacific Rose, and HoneyBee apples)- in addition to my squash fixation (kabocha, mostly, but a well roasted spaghetti squash also makes me swoon.) I love…

Modifying cooking due to oven failure
My oven is 20 years old, and just this week it's chosen to start failing, right in time for Thanksgiving. The new noises I can work around, and the range top seems to be still working just fine, it's the baking interior which is slightly off in temperature…the last two meals I cooked I had to add extra time to ensure…
