Coffee Hack (Calories)
Coffee used to hinder my calories for the day. Creamer has 35 calories per tablespoon. I used to not measure my creamer, that was a huge mistake. Now I use a shot glass, which is 4 tablespoons, but with pure creamer, that is still 140 calories per cup. When I want to drink 2-3 cups, I will fill the shot glass halfway withā¦

Adding protein to oats
Hi all. I eat oatmeal most days for the heart health benefits but I'm aiming for 20 grams of protein per meal and a serving of oats only contains 6 grams of protein. Adding nuts is my go-to but an ounce of almonds only adds 6 grams, which gets me to 12. A quarter cup of soy milk give me a few more, bringing the grand totalā¦

I believe this is the missing protocol needed to lose fat efficiently
Let me first say that this ISN'T something I came up with. From all my years as a trainer, I've always stated that weightloss/gain/maintenance is basically a CICO approach. Dry or wet steel cut oats; which do I log
I saw a post from 2020, where everyone was saying post the dry weight rather than the cooked weight. I asked Alexa, she said the cooked weight because that is what we eat. That makes sense to me but it is not about me. What does myfitnesspal want us to log so that they are giving us the right caloric and nutritional values?
