Simple, healthy, and protein-packed taco meat
This dish is one of my consistent go-to meals for meal prep throughout the week. It is pretty simple to prepare and helps hit my macros. Lean ground turkey taco meat: 1 tbsp olive oil 2 16 oz packages of lean ground turkey 1 can of plain black beans, drained 1 can of dark red kidney beans 1 can of diced tomatoes with…

Nutrition Sheet Upload for Meal
It is now easy to calculate very specific nutritional information with AI. It is very easy to generate a nutritional spec sheet for specific meals. Instead of manually entering recipes with vague approximations from the database, I should be able to upload one file per meal—either for my own use or for the MyFitnessPal…

Breakfast Foods for a Sensitive Stomach?
I struggle with eating breakfast because my stomach is very sensitive in the morning. I haven't found any foods that both fuel me and don't make me sick - before this happened I was a big fan of oatmeal, yogurt, & granola. Any ideas on how to modify but remain nutritious?

New here ❤️ hoping to encourage women who feel confused about fitness and nutrition
Hi everyone. I’m new to posting here, but not new to fitness and helping women feel stronger and more confident. I’ve seen so many women work hard and still feel discouraged, not because they are lazy, but because they are overwhelmed by too much conflicting information. I’d love to use this space to share simple, honest…

Separate natural from added sugars
I am trying to track my added sugars but the sugar counter includes both natural sugars ( like in milk or fruit) and added sugars . Can we track these differently or is there a way to do this now ? I am exceeding my sugar numbers just by eating recommended fruit servings -

Protein Bars
Do you think protein bars are worth the calories if your trying to stay at 1400 cals a day?

Hi Everyone
Hi Everyone. I have been using this app for 2 months and I depend on it. I recently lost my wife and have had to learn how to cook for myself. I can boil stuff and microwave everything but my fitness pal has been so helpful. I am happy to meet new friends and be apart of their healthy eating journey.

What do you eat/drink while cooking dinner?
What do you eat while you cook dinner or do you manage not to snack/pick the entire time you're in the kitchen? Painting the picture: between 5-530pm when my workday is over, my spouse is picking up kids, and I have 30 minutes of silence to unwind and cook dinner has become a daily pain point. I have a mid-afternoon snack…

Types of Fat
In exporting my nutritional information from MyFitnessPal, I noticed there are 5 categories of Fat: "Fat", "Saturated Fat", "Monounsaturated Fat", "Polyunsaturated Fat", and "Trans Fat". However, the values for the last four fat types do not add up to anything close to the values I see for the "Fat" category. If the four…

Does myfitnesspal calculate iron % for men?
I know the daily intake for men is 8mg and woman 18mg I have read in places that the app defaults to 18 regardless if you set yourself profile to men or woman. Is this correct? And do I need to change my current 100% to 44.4% as this is equivalent 8/18x100:) let me know what you think please

Weight loss in pregnancy
I am 12 weeks pregnant and 173 lbs. I would like to lose some weight in a healthy way which I know is a challenge while the baby is growing. I exercise at least 5 days a week. How many calories should I eat per day/how should I adjust my nutrition for pregnancy?

Scale wont budge.
I am frustrated.....I am in a calorie deficit every day, eating protein, low carb most days, daily exercise. Based on my intake and output I should be losing at least 1- 1 & 1/2 lbs a week. Some weeks 2 lbs. Scale is not moving at all for a couple weeks. In fact it went up about a pound and a half. My typical day has about…

Macros in the dark
According to an MFP survey, 88% of MyFitnessPal users say they don’t have any idea of how much protein, fibre, carbs, sugar and salt they consume daily. Then what exactly are they using MFP for.
-
Introduction
I am Jack. I have used MyFitnessPal off and on for probably 15 years and always lost weight while using it then stop and slowly put all the weight back on.

Capturing nutrition info from a photo
I'd love to be able to just be able to take a photo of a nutrition label and have MFP automatically add the information when creating a new food rather than having to type everything in manually. It would function similarly to a reverse image search or text recognition in a PDF. MFP could automatically map the data to the…

Add Vitamin D tracking
It would be nice to learn how much vitamin D we are getting from our diets so we know when to cut back or augment supplements.

Sugar Alcohols not showing
What aren't sugar alcohols staying when I report food with incorrect nutrition & save it? Very frustrating when counting net carbs.
-
Improve the food search diary
many restaurants and food companies (at least in Canada) have their nutrition or at least their calories per serving publicly available, MFP should be able to tap into that to populate the food diary ALSO, if someone is creating a new food and it doesn’t have any macro information, that should just be in their own personal…

Add salt as an option in nutrition info or salt to sodium converter
Hi all. I saw an old post discussing adding salt to the nutrition info, from a few years ago. It wasn't in the feature forum, and I couldn't find another recent post discussing the matter. In the UK, most things are labelled with salt content, not sodium. I've found that this leads to a lot of incorrect entries for food,…

Asian-Inspired Recipes
Does anyone have any recommendations for macro-friendly Asian-inspired recipes? It can be YouTube/Instagram creators, cookbooks, blogs, anything. I prefer Pacific Island foods, like from Japan, Polynesia, Philippines, and Guam.

Add Fiber to Food Diary
There's plenty of room on the Food Diary for a Fiber column. Being able to calculate Net Carbs is very important. Fiber prevents spikes in blood sugar, helps you feel full longer and promotes healthier bowel movements. All nutrition labels show the fiber count. Tallying only Carbohydrates just isn't all that important to…
