Hi! I've been doing gym and some cardio for 5 months, but I feel like I'm always improvising in the kitchen and it's messing with my progress. I hate guessing with my meals, so I want some legit help. Anyone know where I can find good online nutritionists that aren't scams or super generic? So far, the best tip I've gotten…

Scan nutrition labels
It would be nice if the app let you scan nutrition labels. Some foods, and pre-made meals do not have a barcode, but they all have nutrition labels. The app should be able to read those labels.

I’m eating a diet that is 30% calories from protein, 20% from fat and 50% from carbs. my question applies all the time, while cutting or bulking Some days I lift and do a long trail run or rock climb where I burn 1000 calories or more. Should I stick to getting 30% of calories from protein on those days (can be upwards of…

Hello My name is Crystal and I am new here. I'm 47 years old. I started using the app due to my health conditions because it's very hard for me to keep track if I'm getting enough nutrition or not. Query on healthy fat intake
Hi all, I am a novice to all of this but I have been reading a bit about that as long as you are eating real foods etc you are getting high quality nutrients. Delete Duplicate and Incorrect Foods
The number of duplicate and incorrect entries across all food types is staggering, and the problem continues to build, making it more and more difficult to log food accurately. It would be great if MFP would make moderating and/or cleaning up duplicate and incorrect food entries using an algorithm a priority.

Calories in Alcohol
I'm from the UK and I know food packaging is required to have calories and nutrition information labelled clearly, a lot also using the traffic light kinda system to clearly show nutritional values in each serving. Alcohol however doesn't need to adhere to this packaging. I'm a student and don't drink more than once every…

Can I bulk while lowering glucose (A1c)?
As title suggests, I started trying a bulk diet (+200 cal) with ≈45-60min of pretty strenuous weightlifting 6 days a week. I currently have a BMI of 23 and to note, have LADA. I am not yet on insulin which is a win but have noticed my average glucose has, naturally, been on the rise due to eating more food (I keep carbs…

Why do so many foods having wrong nutritional value posted?
Sorry this is more of a complaint. Don't people read labels when they add foods to MFP? The amount of completely wrong nutritional values baffle and annoy me. But on the good news side lost 5 lbs so far :)
