Ingredient-based Recipe Search
I work full time and have a family that is on a budget. This means that I am often forced to plan meals according to reusable ingredients in order to cut costs and minimize prep/cook time. Because of that, I often have recipes that operate either with leftovers from a previous meal, of, “the other half,” of a particular…

Is there an app…
Does anybody know if there is an app where you can input restaurant food but put in only what you eat and it will give you the nutritional values? For example, if you look at restaurant nutritional facts, like a hamburger, it will give you the nutritional values for everything that comes on the burger. However, if you…

Saving food items, not meals or recipes
I’m a long time user who would love to streamline logging time. I pay close attention to nutrition (including vitamins) not just calories. Even if the item has a green check, I have to open ‘show more’ on multiple choices to find one that looks sensible. Kale with 0 vitamin A? Keep searching. I’d like to save the good…

I wanna give up. I love eating, I don't like walking
Ugh, and the numbers game with my calories and macros is annoying. I'll admit in my previous routine sometimes I ate badly because I am a foodie. However in this new phase of losing weight (again) my eating is very healthy. I have minimal adjustments I have to make with regards to getting rid of unhealthy snacks or candy.…

Add "Medical Conditions" to help tailor nutrients.
Certain conditions require less or more of certain nutrients that might be considered abnormal for most but necessary for some. I.e. POTS and Sodium. Someone with pots might need to consume more salt than what's healthy for others. There are other conditions that impact the diet that MyFitnessPal might flair despite it…

Habit Stacking: Starting small to build up to big goals.
This has been my new favorite approach. I've never been a fan of trying to do everything all at once and I know I need to make small changes toward a bigger goal.
