Saving food items, not meals or recipes

I’m a long time user who would love to streamline logging time. I pay close attention to nutrition (including vitamins) not just calories. Even if the item has a green check, I have to open ‘show more’ on multiple choices to find one that looks sensible. Kale with 0 vitamin A? Keep searching. I’d like to save the good items for reuse without creating a meal around them. Is this possible?

If you eat them frequently, they should always be in your recent foods. But if not, you'll need to create a meal.1

In the app, if you use the Report this food option, you can correct the food AND save it to My Foods for later use. (The reporting aspect doesn't do anything as far as I know, but it's a handy way to save foods)0
