Calorie deduct for omitted ingredients

I ran into a scenario where I ordered a sandwich from a fast food place, but I chose remove mayo from the sandwich to reduce fat. It would be nice to be able to add an “omitted” item to my diary that would create a negative calorie consumption. That way I would look up the sandwich for an easy log, and then just deduct the mayo in the omitted area. Right now there are just a bunch of options for common fast food places based on choices others have made. I’ve seen other posts about substitutions, this area could easily fit that need as well. Omit the mayo from that restaurant's menu, then add a honey mustard item that is also on their menu so it’s accurate. This would clean up the options for so many choices, but also give a customized approach for more accuracy. The only real option for this right now is for me to just calculate everything and either add it as a meal or do quick add, which is not very convenient.

You can do this on desktop, just log it with a - in front of the number of serves

Good to know, thank you I’ll try that out. I just tried to paste the value of -1 into the mobile app and it doesn’t allow it, so if the desktop version takes it then it sounds like they just need to enable the - key functionality in the app. Thanks Alatariel
