Figuring out how to count active vs resting vs deficit calories
Hi — I am on a 1500 daily calorie intake for deficit. Female, 5.4, trying to lose 15 lbs. I do not have my exercise or steps calculating on the app. So, my question is - my "maintaining current weight" intake is 1900 calories to "stay the same" — I'm guessing but am not sure: If my app tracks 1500 calories AND I exercise…

"Remove macros" when logging an item.
This feature would be most useful when logging some type of entrees, and either only eating a portion of, or skipping entirely, some specific ingredients. Sample case; at a restaurant whose entrees have been entered into the food database, ordering a spaghetti and meatballs dish and only eating half of the noodles. Several…

How do I increase my daily calorie goal with exercise?
I used to have my diary set so the more exercise I did, the more calories I was allowed - I think it's called an exercise calorie adjustment. I want to do that again, but after trying all the logical settings, I'm not able to find the setting to achieve that. Any clues?

I will say that I am very active, and I have my Apple Watch activity synced to MFP, but because the calorie number felt too high I set my activity level to lightly…

Subject: Feature Request – Option to Label Quick Add Calories
Hello MyFitnessPal team, I really appreciate the Quick Add feature for logging calories and macros quickly. However, there’s one limitation: when I look back at my diary, all I see is “Quick Add Calories,” and I can’t remember what specific food or drink I logged. Idea: Add an optional text field to Quick Add, so users can…

Calorie Deficit
I didn’t believe in counting calories. Now I do. I’ve lost 12 pounds in 2 1/2 months. This app has helped to keep my accountable. I just wish it was more accurate with certain foods and I wish they had a better way to create your own meals for a more accurate calorie count. Other than that, it’s a great tool.
