Lactose Intolerant
Hello, for clarification, I am a high school student without a license, so I am not the one doing the shopping. Within the last year I've discovered that I am lactose intolerant, and I don't want to cut everything out entirely because I still enjoy it, but I want to lessen my intake. All of the recipes online have stuff I…

Best resource for customized recipes: ChatGPT
AI has been a game changer for me on my wellness journey. I have used it to create gluten-free vegetarian recipes, high-protein recipes, and low-calorie snacks. It's an amazing tool for dietary restrictions—my sister uses it for her son that has a special diet. One of my favorite things about using it is that I can tell it…

Check the accuracy of ingredients or publicly available recipes and meals
Too many items clearly do not have all the information (macros) are they are widely inaccurate (sometimes the info for 100g is listed as for 1g for example) Please could you weed out your system from all the junk and maybe have someone check recipes and meals made public before they go in the wild?

Recipe idea
I filled warmed Trader Joe’s corn tortillas with heated canned rinsed black beans and chopped 1/4 tomato, cabbage and carrots. I forgot the frozen corn but there was no more room left anyways for my tacos! I ate three tacos.

Ice Cream/Frozen Yogurt/Gelato/Sorbet Recipe Collection
Let's start a collection of recipes! I now have a new kitchen gadget (Ninja Creami) that makes various frozen desserts. I'll share what I come up with, and hope others will chime in with recipes they have made and tested. All recipes welcome (regular/lite/low-cal/high protein/etc.).

Recipes needs work!
The remove button on the recipe's ingredient list doesn't work. You have to clear the recipe and start over. I'm using it on Chrome on a laptop. I haven't used Finess Pal in almost 5 years. It's disappointing that you've put no work into that section. I tried to build a recipe using the app, another FAIL. I had to adjust…

Unable to save a manual recipe for 2 days in a row
I am using a Samsung S25 and for the last 2 nights I can't save a recipe. I get an error "Unable to save. Please try again later". This is killing my ability to track my calorie because I create my own recipes all the time. I verified that I am using the latest app version in the Google play store.

Recipe Apps/Software that does the math like MFP
Is MFP (My Fitness Pal) the only app that does the math still standing? A recipe app/software should have the following: • A large nutritional database for raw foods (meats, veggies, etc.) and packaged foods (the stuff you buy in cans and boxes and bags at the store) Nutribase had the entire US FDA nutrition database and…

Need Surveyors for an App I'm Designing
Hello. I’m a UX/UI design student currently developing an app that encourages people to cook more meals at home rather than relying on takeout or dining out. The app focuses on helping users discover recipes, challenges, and motivation to make home cooking easier and more enjoyable. I’m looking for about 15 participants…

use measurements / weights instead of "number of servings" in recipes
I'm new to the forum so this suggestion may have already been made… I'm finding it frustrating that when you add a recipe to calculate calories and macros, it uses "number of servings" instead of weights. I get it… that's quicker and easier and matches many online recipes. But if we're trying to be precise, we need to be…

Let us name the units for a recipe
When I set up a recipe, I can make the whole batch, and then indicate how many servings it makes. The app does the division and lists nutrition/serving. Then we can add multiples or fractions of servings to the diary. This is great. But when I make that recipe again months later will I remember how large I made those…

My Recipes search enhancements
I was recently trying to find a recipe for something I had made previously but wasn't able to find it. I think it would be helpful if the recipes I added in Fitnesspal could be…

High Fiber Meal Plans
I recently tested the premium meal plans feature. I choose Flexatarian as my approach because it was described as "focus on unsaturated fats and fiber-rich food." However, the recipes that were selected weren't very high in fiber at all. So I swapped out all the recipes for recipes where beans were the key ingredient.…

Who says dieting can be boring???
When I first tried losing weight I really hated it, it felt like a complete punishment. “You cant have food until you’ve lost weight!” is what I told myself, so I ate a consistent diet of Chicken Salads, Chicken Breasts and greens for months; and I detested it. Well, 60lbs+ lost and my perspective has completely changed.…

Meal Planner with access to 'my meals'
The meal plans are currently limited to the MyFitnessPal recipes. Access to a blank meal planner that we can then pull our own recipes, along with the MF recipes, into would make weekly meal planning much easier and avoid having to use other apps or spreadsheets. Being able to scroll across a whole week that easily and…
