Soft-Food Only Diet Advice?
Hey there! So, my doctor recently advised me to go on a soft food only diet because of a medical condition until hopefully it resolves (but it’s for at least six months). I’m already someone who struggles to stay at a healthy weight and get all my nutrients (especially iron and protein). I also love crunchy foods, so I’m…

How to alphabetize My Recipes on laptop or desktop
Hello, I have so many of my own recipes input and would like to know how to alphabetize them. I can do this on my phone, but I use my laptop almost 100% when planning my day. The way they show up now is most recent added, or if I edit one it will show up at the top of all the recipes. I hope that makes sense. I asked…

Recipes
Before the April 2026 update, I had created many recipes of foods I make often. Now I can't find them as they are not listed alphabetically nor can I search for them. I also just tried creating a recipe - it was not intuitive and hard to use. I tried editing as itvwas created wrong, but it doesn't seem possible to change…

Add “notes” field to my recipes
often I’m making special recipes and trying to hit macros when I come up with a recipe. But when I’m making a recipe I can only add ingredients to the recipe and when I go to replicate it I can’t remember how long I cooked it for, what needs to be added or removed, too much or not enough water etc. I make most of my…

See/edit recipe ingredients after creating
Currently, once you have created a recipe you only see the overall nutrients for the overall recipe. This means that if you're making that recipe again in the future, you have to use the exact quantities of the original recipe - which is: difficult if you can't remember the original quantities inflexible if you need to…

Text search my food diary
I would love to be able to search my food diary for a keyword and see a dated history of when I have eaten foods or recipes containing that word. My current use case is not that common: I need to reverse-engineer the serving size for a soup I made months ago and just pulled out of the freezer. (I forgot to write the number…

Recipes - Add temp and cooking time to as fields for saved recipes
I’m a premium member and would love to be able to add the temperature and cooking time to my saved recipes. It would be a great time saver as I’d no longer have to go to the original recipe site (book, online, etc) to get that info.

Recipe Search
I have so many recipes entered into My Fitness PAL there are 13plus pages. Some of these recipes are ones I have created myself and need to remind myself of what ingredients and how much of I used. It’s a tedious task to fond recipes particularly when they’re not listed in alphabetical order. It would be great to have a…

Import recipes from cook books
it would be great if you could scan the recipe of a meal from a cook book into the app. This way the app would save the recipe and calculate macros for you! So far it is possible to scan the ingredients and save it to your diary although it doesn’t give you the option to save it as a recipe in ‘My recipes’

Log meals from the recipe search in the plan tool
You should be able to log meals directly from the recipe search section ('recipes' tab) in the plan tool. Sometimes I want to search for a recipe that's not part of a plan, and log it without having to make a whole new plan to add it to.

Making new recipe creation faster and easier!
When creating a new recipes where you enter the ingredients manually, can you PLEASE have an option to scan barcodes so they can be added so much faster? It is such a pain to add ingredients manually that could so easily be scanned (canned tomatoes, milk, pasta, etc.).
