Unable to drop weight even after calorie deficit and active lifestyle
Background Age & Stats: 37 years old, 175 cm, currently weighing 81 kg. Active lifestyle, working out 3-4 times per week. In early 2020, I took drastic steps to improve my health—quit smoking, reduced alcohol intake, cleaned up my diet, and started working out. During lockdown, I maintained a calorie deficit by meal…

Finally getting back to it
Generally, been struggling to stay consistent with my weight loss goals for the past year or so, sitting at a clean 205lb trying to drop to 175lb. Managed to stay below yesterday (a lot of it was realizing how high-calorie some of my snacks that didn't have nutrition labels were) and I'm really trying to go for it today.…

Heavy LT
not the best look to be a heavy LT. Want to lose approx 30-50 lbs. I lift very regularly (4-5 days per week) in the morning (around 6 PST). Working out hasn’t been too difficult, but nutrition is what gets me (big time volume eater). I’d love to get more consistent for meal planning.

I have been on Keto for 252 days. My goal is 140lbs and i started at 310lbs. I am now 201 lbs. 61lbs to go! Before I started this journey I was under the impression that I would never lose the weight. How I have proved myself, and others, wrong. I thought I would share the greatest lesson i have learned so far. This post…

Introduction
Hi! I'm Shelly. A 51yo menopausal woman on HRT, that who has always been slim. To be expected, I quit smoking 4mos ago and in that time I gained over 20lbs. So I've been exercising at least 3x's/wk for at least 30mins (cardio, core & resistant band target area exercises) for the last 4wks now. Unfortunately, I've found…

How do I track fiber intake?
Hello all. New...again;) I realize early nutrition labels didn't reflect fiber, but that changed awhile ago. Certainly MFP has updated to include fiber considering all of the diabetes/GLP-1/insulin making all the health news boards, but I cannot find it. If the nutrition label information wasn't ever updated to include…

Help with Calorie deficiency
I'm trying to figure out if what I'm doing is good for weightloss. According to my weight goal on MFP it says I should be taking in 2500 calories a day. Today I am around 1100 intake and a net of 300. Should I up my intake or just roll with it? I feel good and my hunger is satisfied.

My journey started 348 days ago
Started on February 15, 2024. I was 546lbs. (I was actually probably more than that but I had no access to a scale that could weigh me and that was the last weight I knew I was). As of January 24, 2025 I was down 199lbs. I am now 347lbs. I might be insane but I was so annoyed that I was not down 200lbs, a nice round…

So as of today I have been on my diet for exactly 1 year. I am down 209lbs. I have my starting weight at 546lbs. but I'm positive it was more than that. 546lbs. was just the last official weight I had from a doctor's visit and it had been a year and half since that visit when I started and I know I weighed more. I was…

Will eating late at night make me gain weight?
I have a busy day and don’t really have time to eat I mainly have some caffeine and a small snack. I make up for my calories, proteins, etc at dinner time. Which is nice but then at night I get hungry again, I suppose maybe because my body’s energy was so depleted it needed more. Sometimes I get so hungry it feels like it…

Can someone please help me figure out a good calorie deficit?
I’m a 32yr old female, 5’9, 215lbs. I’m exclusively breastfeeding my 7mo old. She just recently started on solids so, I’m nursing around 4-6 times day and at least 2 times at night. Stressed and a little confused on how much to add/subtract calories for breastfeeding. Thank you in advanced!

How do you begin, and continue full speed without ‘giving up’?
I want to hear your ways. I have been unmotivated after taking off 3 months with a broken hand, and I just can’t seem to stimulate the motivation within to get back into a routine. I even work at a gym, but that doesn’t even clue me in to get moving.

Add a negative
Let us remove items, it could simply be searching for the item and adding it as a negative. Let’s say I go to a restaurant and the meal I got already exists in the large database of options. Woo! BUT I got it with no mayo, or I didn’t eat about half a cup of rice.. so if I could just simply search mayo and “subtract” 2…
