Added sugar?

NI does not show added sugar in the food diary. Will it be added soon? Is is part of the premium plan? I am supposed to countt Added Sugar.

    Added sugar is not currently totaled up in premium MFP, no different from free MFP in that regard.

    Generally, MFP staff don't read all the posts in the Community. The participants are just regular users like you. We don't have any more insight into what MFP will add/change, or when, than you have yourself.

    That's a tough ask. There's over 50 types of added sugars that can be found in processed foods buried within ingredient lists and recipes etc and extracting that data is not easy and suspect that will be left up to the individual, but that's just a guess.

    People in the US consume just over a 1 lb a week of added sugars and the USDA recommended less than 10% which works out to about 3/4 of a pound so a little less, and that's the maximum amount. I wish you luck in that procedure.
