It is amazing how quickly we slide into bad habits. Especially when we feel crappy. I know that all my grazing yesterday was looking for comfort. Yesterday was a big fail, but I'm okay with it. About an hour before "quitting time" my ear started hurting. My mom told me what to do, so I spent the evening putting nose drops in and trying to get ahead of my sinuses. Today, they are still very tingly, so not sure I will get exercise in. Just for Today 02/04 1. 30 minutes of cardio (either elliptical or walking) 2. log everything I eat 3. 10 minutes of positive meditation So far no foot pain! Next week, I'll be upping my cardio time. Maybe I can get back down to my normal weight by the time my family comes to visit in July.

Joan, it's a great idea to be specific about what you will do to "keep busy" instead of snacking. Two things are accomplished. You don't snack, and you get something off your "to do" list! Plus if you have something specific, you can't meander around trying to come up with something to do, while snacking :open_mouth:

Getting on the elliptical didn't hurt my foot. In fact, walking Saturday, elliptical Sunday, an no added foot pain. Feeling pretty good about that! I can back into the swing of things.
