OK, but this thread is not about you, and I am not trying to convince you personally to eat carbs. We were just talking about an amount that is sane for the average person.

First of all I never mentioned a ratio. Second I was just saying a way to estimate how many carbs to eat for someone who has no idea. Carbs are optional, unless you want to be a successful athlete. Some keto people are so black and white, and I have eaten keto myself for long stretches of time. Get over it, different diets…

what do you think your meat eats and concentrates far more than veggies contain? There is this thing called organic farming by the way... I buy local organic fresh food, it is not hard. Seriously, if this is your worry then you should cut all meat out of your diet first.

Supplements do not replace food. It sounds like you need some professional therapy, seriously. The world is made of poo, you drink water that has been poo'd in. This is what your immune system is for.

Sorry I read it as you saying it had 11.2g of sugar :) So yeah, I still maintain that 5 calories up or down is not going to make any difference to anyone. I don't log anything under 20 cals.

I dislike vegetables as well, that is why I make a protein shake and put in spinach, broccoli, whatever and just blend it all then slam it back. Tastes like vanilla. I also eat a large salad but with plenty of feta, olives, good olive oil, apple cider vinegar and anything else to make it taste good. There are ways to get…

do not look at sodium or cholesterol counts unless you have a medical reason to do so. Eat real food, get some exercise, and hit your calorie goal, that is all that matters.
-
your exercise is not what is going to make you lose fat, your diet will.

because weight fluctuates, 2 days is not enough time for any sort of trend to show (I've been cutting for 2 years). If you get depressed over numbers fluctuating only weigh yourself once a week.

Weight loss doesn't matter, fat loss does. Keep going, you are making progress.

get yourself some fractional plates, they are great for breaking plateaus.

protein, fiber and fat.

I know guys who think it is disgusting for other guys not to shave their chest. How about you all stop worrying about what other people do with their body.

if guys can have a neckbeard ladies can have leg or armpit beards.

Some people are trying to do activities that carbs are useful for (as should everyone losing fat). I know all about keto and low carb, that does nothing to argue the fact that 1g of carbs per lb is a decent starting point for most people. Oh, and you can eat steak, salad and carbs by the way ;)

sigh. False.

when you are obese you need a lot of fuel.

losing fat is not always easy.

make a lunch at home and bring it?

so don't eat low carb if you don't want to eat high fat. Pick one or the other.

This is not functionally true. http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/nutrition/excess-protein-and-fat-storage-qa.html/

go to the gym immediately and add 10lbs to all your lifts. Then do the same tomorrow.

that is some super sugary cabbage - I don't know where you got that data from, but the USDA says 75g of cabbage has 3g net carbs and 2g sugar @ 20kcal. http://www.fns.usda.gov/sites/default/files/HHFS_CABBAGE_FRESH900180Oct2012.pdf The point being that weighing vs. cups measurement for cabbage is a waste of time, we are…

open to friends and I defriend anyone who won't open it :) Feel free to add me.

if I use a raw entry I weigh it raw, if it is cooked I look for a cooked entry. Both are fine, you just have to pick the right entry.

the amount you need to eat to lose fat is different for everyone, go through the guided setup and you should get a goal calorie amount to eat each day to lose. Then log all your food and try to hit that calorie goal every day.

even sedentary people need a certain amount of protein to prevent excessive LBM loss. http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/the-fundamentals-of-fat-loss-diets-part-2.html/
