this sounds possible. The only way to know how accurate it is is to try it for 3-4 weeks then adjust your calories based on whether you lost or gained. Fitbit often tells me I burned 4k or even 5k in a day, and it definitely is not based in reality since I am not losing 1lb every 2 days (I eat around 2k).

I mean seriously, just drink some milk. This shake is a waste of time and calories. Do what makes you happy, but you are just drinking sugar.

black coffee.

My trick is that every time I go to the bathroom I chug a large glass of water. It means you are getting up every hour or so.

Jelly here is strained jam, like this http://www.kraftcanada.com/recipes/cooked-raspberry-jelly-certo-crystals-182098

I think we would call that Jell-o.

a food scale costs $10. It makes all the difference.
-
the answer has already been given a few times, you are eating too much, either by not logging accurately, using inaccurate entries, or by setting the wrong caloric deficit.
-
what chemicals exactly do you not want to consume? Last I checked the ingredients of my whey powder were... whey and lecithin.
-
There is no downside except trying to find tupperware for all the extra meals I make. There is also no excuse. The time you spend going out and getting food is more than enough to make your own.
-
yes many people do it, although it is called a ketogenic diet. It works because you eat less than you burn, just like any diet. It is not special.
-
1. make diet plan that will make you lose weight 2. add exercise if desired
-
this is totally ridiculous.

How would you know?

yes, but MFP is not the USDA. You have no idea who weighed that fruit or what method they used. I see over 20 entries for avocado in MFP, mostly with differing calories. Here is one that says "Whole" http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/generic-from-avacadocentral-com-avacado-whole-medium-hass-5oz-150g-avg-305204504…
-
well obviously it all depends on what the entry in MFP is for. If it is for a whole avocado then yes you would weigh the whole thing then eat it (because that entry already takes into account the extra non-edible weight). If it specifies flesh only then it is exactly that.

Alcohol cannot turn to fat, it is the calories in the drinks or what you eat that day that does. Eat only lean protein the entire day you are going to drink. Never eat after you start drinking. Drink drinks with no carbs (ie vodka). You cannot put on fat no matter how much you drink if you do this, but your life will suck.

While starvation mode may be a bad term, metabolic slowdown/adaptation is very real. And yes, you are drastically undereating.
-
I don't know anyone who recommends weighing at bedtime. Weight first thing in the morning, after the bathroom. You must eat lots of protein. Have bacon and eggs instead of bacon and toast for instance. Carbs make you hungry, protein makes you full.

"You look so much better!" - yes, it is a compliment for right now, but you know what? I looked fine before as well asshat.

I use trendweight, but I believe the app Libra does this also.

Some people hate coffee, not me, I roast my own and drink lots. However, I still use caffeine supplements as a pre-workout. Sometimes it is just easier to pop a pill.
-
uh, what? I am pretty sure we all know the answer to why it happened, obviously the pills played no part at all. If you had eaten maintenance and lost 40 lbs then we would have something to ponder.
-
No. I simply said caffeine pills are an effective weight loss pill, pretty much the only one with clinical evidence (examine.com says it is the only weight loss supplement that works). Someone else said it was cheaper to drink coffee. Even if you drink the crappiest dunkin donuts plonk it is far more expensive to drink it,…

5c a pill. I don't think so.

caffeine pills work great.

crush garlic into greek yogurt, let sit overnight, then put grated cucumber in it and serve. Doesn't get easier than that.

A waitress does not have the power to take away your freedom. This is not a gender issue.

report him, totally unprofessional. This is a person in a position of power. That is an abuse of said power.
