With respect to all of your advices and comments that I really appreciate. I have to note that during my weight loss journey I didn't lose weight unless I go below 1200, this means one of two things, either all of my calculations are wrong (I think I'm below 1200 while I'm actually over 1200) or my metabolism is adapted to…

I totally agree with you, but I'm still reducing weight. I dropped from 134 Kg to 62 Kg. Since two months I've started weight lifting sessions. I can see total change in my muscles but still there are lots of fat beneath my skin, that's why I'm still dieting. I do care of myself, and watching my nutrition very well. I know…

Thanks for the great advise hummynbyrd. Actually I'm following program of Mark Lauren described in "You are your own gym". It is a great book as well and explains nutrition and building muscles techniques in a very simple scientific way. I started one month ago and results are great. BTW I exercise 6 days a week for 90…

Sorry for being too late as my son was admitted in the hospital for past 4 days and I didn't check the notifications. First, I haven't taken either supplements or vitamins or anything else, just the healthy food, and monitoring the daily intake of calories, carbs, protein and fat, and trying to keep them in the healthy…

Hi jbach2, It was some sort of transformation in life style based on counting calories. First I set target of 700 cal/day for intake, along with doing whatever I can to burn calories, like stairs instead of elevators. I used to park my car very far from office just to burn 5 cals. I did leave my desk for 5 minutes every 1…

Dear VeryKatie, Thanks so much for your elaborated reply, it is very kind of you. I've got the book, and found it very much helpful (it is 13$ right now on Amazon  ) also I've just bought two dumbbells today, each is 5 Kg to add reasonable resistance that will help in biceps and triceps exercises.

VeryKatie, Good advice, Actually I don't have time for gym, therefore I will go for You Are Your Own Gym. Do you suggest particular type of training? I do push ups, ab crunching and walking daily but without any gain in muscles.

Hi Kellehbeans, Do you do some sort of exercising or workouts? maybe your lifestyle and activities burns too much daily. My work nature is sedentary, hence I'm very afraid of gaining weight again.
-
Hi Elliej, Yes, I've maintained daily intake of 700 cal for one year, with one day (chosen randomly) each week I break the rules and rise my intake to around 2000 to disturb my metabolism and be sure that my body will not get used of 700 cal/day and stop losing weight.
-
Hi VeryKatie, Thanks for your interest. I'm 5.6 (170 cm) is it healthy or I must reduce more?
-
Hi Jamie, I've reduced my weight from 134kg to 63kg ending up losing 71kgs in 12 months. I'm in maintenance mode now. In case you need any help or advice, don't hesitate to ask.

Thanks funchords for your prompt reply. Actually I'm using Microsoft Bing Health for both Diet and Cardio tracking. I do exactly as you mentioned, log everything that enters my stomach, and try to stay within the goal. 1800 cal/day is suggested by Diet Tracker software I use. What I really want for the rest of my life is…
