I definitely recommend the old recipe builder for homemade meals. It makes things a lot quicker than trying to do the individual ingredients over and over again (especially if it's something you have every week or few weeks) and since it'll save in your recipes it'll be there the next time you have that same meal so it's a…

How have you been feeling? How are your clothes fitting? Are your measurements down? The scale isn't the only measure of success. If you want to weigh everyday, I highly suggest using a trending app (Libra/Happy Scale) or TrendWeight (Web) as it'll give you a better picture of what's really going on. Weight loss definitely…

When I first decided to start MFP, it was back in January of 2016. I decided that I would first just log in everyday. After I did that for a little over a week, I decided I'd start logging my food - after about a week or two of that I made changes to how much I was eating and started logging my food and made a point to try…

If I tell myself I can't have something, it will instantly become something I want and I won't stop thinking about it until I get it. I don't want to repeat everything that's already been said but I definitely agree that choosing a plan that's sustainable for you in the long term will give you a lot more success and a lot…

@puffbrat You're welcome, sounds like a good plan to me! All the food sounds delicious, I could really go for a sub and brownie. haha I also have a journal I got quite some time ago that I've yet to use. I hope it helps you keep on track!
-
@girlalmighty08 Awesome goals! =)
-
@VeryKatie Happy February! @puffbrat Considering the Superbowl is only once a year, you could indulge a little and still keep it within reason or just enjoy the day and do the best you can for the rest of the week to sort of offset it. I'm sure you can make the limited options work especially since it's not what you eat…

Yay for feeling better! ☺

I want nachos now. (Also I'd have the nachos - the number on the scale is just a data point to me so fluctuations don't bother me.)
-
Me too! haha

January was a success challenge wise! Calorie wise, not so much.

@Alioth That's awesome that you got to the gym and that you felt good afterwards! =) (I'm also ready for Spring but I feel like I've said it so much I'm basically a broken record. haha)

@girlalmighty08 Congratulations!!!
-
Glad it's not broken! Though sometimes sprains can feel worse, hopefully he's not in a lot of pain now! Yay for resisting the delicious peanut M&M's!

Well I got the cleaning I planned to do on Monday done today and that pretty much sums up how my week has been. I miss the days when I wasn't such a procrastinator. haha Baby dust sent your way! (Also I don't think there is such a thing as TMI here anymore. =P ) This gave me warm, happy fuzzy feelings and I very much enjoy…

Last week was another successful challenge week! I even had 5 out of the 7 days where I was under my calorie goal. Of course the two days that I wasn't did take a good chunk out of the deficit but still - it's progress! Anyone have any updates of their progress?
-
I've had a lot of moments that were telling that things were getting out of hand but I spent a good while just watching the scale go up and choosing food over my goals but here are some of the honorable mentions: 1.) My comfy jeans no longer fitting or any of my jeans actually 2.) Sweatpants and underwear getting tight…

I have a personal preference to not eat after dinner which is usually around 6 p.m. My eating window is usually from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. (I don't wake up hungry). This tends to have me focusing on meals instead of snacks and tends to naturally keep me at a calorie deficit when I'm diligent about it. It tends to vary on the…
