Okay 1. There is plenty of pasta you can buy that's vegan. 2. You will only lose muscle of you aren't eating enough or hitting your appropriate macros, not eating animal products doesn't automatically mean you will shrivel up into a weak boney hippy. Just wanted to get that out of the way. But a vegan diet does require…

I log almost every day. Anyone can feel free to add! Its so nice sometimes to see lots of positive things on the news feed

Why people gotta get so uppity? To each their own right? I don't hear people argue half as much about what kind of music they like as they do about the food they eat.

I transitioned into veganism a little while ago. I would say it is still very easy to gain weight if you aren't paying attention. "Junk Food Vegans" very much exist just like "Junk Food Vegetarians". I've lost a few pounds since I started cause I try to make more plant based meals. But if you constantly eat PB sandwiches…

are you really 20? Man, if you are I wished I could look that young!!!!!!! I'm only asking cause if your younger than that, that could be why your sustaining so well on so few calories. But MFP has the diaries set up like that for a reason. I think nutritionally you need to be eating more or some deficiencies may creep up…

My confession is sometimes I am drinkorexic. I have a half Russian and half German ancestry so I can drink like a fish before I get a good buzz going. But it costs so much money at a bar and has so many calories. So if I know I have a date to go out I just won't eat all day until right before we go and then I'll eat a PB…

I looked at a bunch of different ones before I bought my Up band. Its more flexible than the other bands so I found it more comfortable to wear on a daily basis. After calibrating it to my stride I found its relatively accurate to my step count. I like it tracks my sleep patterns as well. I have it synced to mfp and its…

I pre log everything the night before. With the exception of my days off usually I do those in the morning. If I don't have a set schedule for my food I'll go over all the time. Its so easy to say "there's no way that's has too many cals" and then I log it later and I exceeded my limit by 400 cals.

Mine reflect a lot when I lose. I've lost 15lbs and gone down a whole size. Its not that great though, they are not as "pert" as they used to be. I gotta do a lot of chest exercises to get the illusion of some volume back.... TMI!

Booze. It never fails I'm like "I'll get two drinks tonight" and I even pre log them so its planned. I go out and get my two drinks and then bam! Still thirsty need two more! By the end of the night I'm like "whats MFP again?" Argh!

Skipping meals and trying to "make up" for a bad eating day can end up worse than just owning it, shaking it off, and starting anew again the next day. I find its hard for me to fight a binge or snacking urge when I drop my cals really low or skip meals. Why are you worried so much about what your friend will think? I'm…

I feel like honestly any major change in diet can stall your weight loss, make you bloated, mess with what your digestive system is used to. This happened to my mother as well. She made a conscious effort to eat more fruits and veggies and cut back on junk food and it totally messed with her digestion and bloated her out.…

I just started using this easy recipe for breakfast and its delicious! I make it a half cup at a time but you could double the recipe for more! 1/2 cup coconut milk 1 generous tbsp chia seeds 1/2 tsp cocoa powder Sprinkle of cinnamon to taste 1/2 tsp agave nectar I put it all in a tupperware, seal it up, and shake it…

How long have you been on this plateau? Has it been like a week or a month? I've hit some week long plateaus and usually its when I've been doing the same diet and exercise regime for a while. When I change up the intensity of my workouts and reevaluate my food choices it goes away and I start losing again. If its been…

My father and I collectively have taken every diet supplement I can imagine, herbal and not. I'm obviously no diet expert, but I can tell you this. None of them ever did anything (except a few that made me jittery). I didn't lose any more weight with a balanced diet and the pills than I did eating a balanced diet without…
