I don't know if this will help.....Online, under the food > recipes tab there is a small link under the text box for entering a URL to a website that says "add recipe manually". This is where you can enter the name, the servings and the ingredients. After you enter everything you can select "Match Ingredients" and…

Day 234 and logged everyday!

I struggle with this same thing everyday, and more so that it hinders my activities outside of work. It's one thing to sit at a desk for 8+ hours a day, but to go into the evening hours where it's difficult to squeeze in exercising is not good. I've been trying to relocate employment for a few months, but my area has been…

Reaching for 45 here, and would be happy to add people as my friends. I need all the motivation during the Winter months that I can get!

Nope, never really hit on. I know i come across shy though. It's one thing it seems that several people have no idea why they don't get hit on. Looks don't seem to be an issue for you, and maybe the ring does keep guys away.....you never know if the other half is nearby.

Hang in there! I know when I started it was a slow process, but soon the results were showing up and fast; sometimes shocking me in the results. The times I have had problems is when stress settled in over a family loss, and now that i've gotten close to my goals, but I'm not giving up either as EllieWool stated herself.…

I am at the same weight you are, and when selecting automatic for the settings you are asking, I get the same calorie count as you. As far as it automatically updating your calorie intake as you lose weight, I have not had that happen since I started using the app in May of 2014. As I lost weight, I would go in once a…

I quit with Chantix 6 years ago and was done within 2 weeks of being on it. I can't say the first months are easy, but the biggest thing you can do is to find yourself something to fill that void with. Me, I took up reading among a number of other things. I didn't chose food or candy as it was just another addiction I…

My wife was diagnosed with Celiacs last year and it's been a challenge, so my sympathy goes out to you. We have a number of recipes and foods that we compiled from family members who also have food allergies. Pending on your allergy severity, you may also have to watch makeup as well. My wife found that she wasn't getting…

Always looking to add. I've been at 10 lbs from my goal for over a month now and struggling with these pounds. I'm feeling happier, but frustrated with the stalemate I'm at, so any support is always welcomed.

I haven't been on MFP long enough to gather a group of people or get to know them enough, but there are quite a few MFP users that catch the eye.

30 minutes of weight training at lunch time, and I will be doing the usual 50 minutes of bicycling when I get home this afternoon.

To each their own.....not one bit bothered by it at all! Different is good!

I can relate, as bread/pastries were a huge weak point for me. My problem in the decision on whether to have it or not, is do I want to waste so much of my calorie intake on bread, which will be burnt off in no time, plus not fill me....temporary satisfaction? I've had this thought with a number of food products. I like…

When I started back in May of this year, I was at almost 200 lbs and I chose to lose 1 1/2lbs per week with a sedentary job. I took on bicycling since I couldn't do much else for exercising with health problems. I stuck to my daily suggested calorie intake of 1800 whether I worked out or not. By September I was down 25 lbs…
