@sdancer2017 that sounds like an amazing trip. I hope its awesome and that you love it. I have always wanted to go to Hawaii, maybe someday. I'm doing a rud run obstical course in July and it's way outside my comfort zone. Speaking of that, I need to get my but in gear training. I have been slacking off lately.…

I lost a 40 pounds in 2012/2013, then my gallbladded faliled. I put off the surgery for almost a year and gained back all my weight. I finally had it removed in 2014. The surgery went well and so did the recovery. I look maybe two of the pain pills they sent me home with. The most painful part was the gas pains that you…

I'm a self proclaimed beer snob from the north west. I personally love IPAs, but I'm eating low carb so no beer for me

How is everyone this week? Hump day is over, and I'm hearing crickets over here. Its been a slow, lazyish week for me. Need to get motivated again. Maybe plan a camping trip or somthing fun like that. It's just so cold and rainy. I may still plan one, lol. The beach seems to be calling my name.

Mom's are so like that. Mine has been telling me I look good as I am now, still 22lbs above healthy BMI. I think she is just scared of how I'll look. I was a pudgy kid after all :/ with the clothes, I just donate them. I dont want them taking up room in my closet if I'm not waring it. I keep a pretty small wardrobe.

@bootyrubsandtacos. I'm sorry you have had such bad experiences with CNAs and personal aids. Many years ago I was a CNA and I to got frusterated with the lack of work many put into their patients. It was one of many reasons that I quit that line of work. I hope that you can find a therapist that you like. Somtimes you just…

No I was doing alternet day fasting before, I would eat 1 day of 500 calories and the next around 1800. I'm now eating 1200 to 1400 daily because I got tired of the fasting days. But I'm not losing much now. So I'm wondering about going back to it. I norally would have no interest in doing this fast but I have $1500 on the…

As far as I understand, starvation mode is a myth. However adaptive thermogenesis is real.

I've been wondering too. I'm hinding indoors mostly, except for a few rainy hikes. I'm letting my germaphobe fears keep me away from poeople. I don't want this nasty flu that's going around.

I hike a lot and when I enter my hike on here its nearly double the calorie count burned compaired to my fitbit. I do however carry a 30 pound pack each time and fitbit does not add that to its equation, so I'm not sure on my total calories burned is. I just dont eat back all my exercise calories, maybe 100 to 200 of them…

That sounds like a good plan. I'll have to add that to my weekend  I'm just not sure what to watch now. Finished Stranger Things.

@PappingtonSteel I'm sorry to hear that. My husband is also on the hunt for a job. After being travelers for 2 years we need to be home. So time to find a new job, it can be a bit stressful.

I hit a plateau for December and I'm just starting to see the scale move this week. But besides that, my jeans have been getting pretty lose on me. I may need to size down to a pair of 10s

Sounds great with the weather we have been having.

How is everyone today? @bootyrubsandtacos are you doing ok? Any other job opportunities? I have a hike planned for today, so that should be fun, I just hope to not get soaked in the rain.

Happy friday 30s people. Anyone have exciting plans for the weekend? I'm planning on braving the rain and getting in a 3 mile hike today. This weekend we are having some friends out that we haven't seen for a while.

Seems like people are a little snarky here. Homeschooling is a great thing to provide for your family, its also a lot of work and time.

@cwells16. Longview! We are super close. I'm in education too. And I can say I prefer my husband with a beard but he works in healthcare and somtimes a hairy face is not the most santairy thing so he keeps it shaved.
