As a bartender, giving up alcohol is really challenging, especially when you get free shift drinks! However, I just had shoulder surgery a few weeks ago and can't work for a few months, so i took it as a good time to cut back drastically, and I've only had two glasses of red wine in almost a month! I always feel like…

I personally try not to, but it depends on your activity level and type of sports you participate in. At this time I am only able to walk for fitness (recovering from a shoulder surgery) and just recently was able to burn 200 calories a day. I'm eating around 1200 cals per day, and because I am hardly active besides my…

Thats where I am at too, I started yesterday (again) and I have this fluttery feeling inside me that this time I am gonna stick to it! I have hit my highest weight of my life over the last few months, and its finally time to do something about it.

1200 has always been a challenge for me, and I used to be very active and at my peak I would strive for 1600-1800 calories a day and found that I was still losing weight since I was able to increase my activities. Now I am struggling, so I decided to try the 1200 calories since I'm not able to really work out for a month…

When I'm doing good - Whole milk, full flavor foods, (none of that low fat, sugar free, artificial crap for me) with lots of vegetables and moderate fruits, natural carbs like rice and potatoes, raw nuts, I strive for nutrient rich foods, and I have a very versatile pallet, which helps... However, when I'm NOT doing good,…

I tried this a while back and I was really happy with it, unfortunately I wasn't able to stick to it and kinda forgot about it, until now! I'll start incorporating this back into my daily life, so glad I read this post! Thanks :)

I'm glad I found this website, it's refreshing! I will contribute to it, and it helped me decide on a new goal weight of 130-140, and that I need to start lifting!

Yes, movies worked for this last week, now I am getting started on a few books. Dovekeepers and The Brothers K. While I've been on this thread, I've thought of some other things I should confess to.. I've eaten a half gallon of icecream in one sitting. (Tillamook Marionberry Pie) I ate an entire package of oreos with 2…

Its the closest city, im a beach dweller :) Not a lot to do here during winter, and even less when you have a total recovery time of 6 months. I'm a week and a day into it and i'm already going nuts. At least i'll be able to move better by the time summer comes. I guess I should find a new thread on ideas for recovery time…

I guess thats correct, but i still felt guilty, and a little nauseated the next day. I just had shoulder surgery last friday and two days before I went in I over indulged in sushi, like, 4 rolls, plus a tempura appetizer and miso soup... is that better? Not just run-of-the-mill rolls either, like, super fancy high quality…

last week I ate an entire jar of pickles while watching "The Bucket List" :s
