Welcome aboard Jim and Susan. We take it one week at a time and try to support everyone's efforts. Things change as the nest empties out, the road trips for work end, and much of the workaholic pressure subsides. Transitions are good. No time like the present to start working on getting back down to that 205 physique. But…

Welcome back, @FindingSamMon. Glad to have a “new” face on the board.

Glad you’re coming through it. You will be back in the swing in no time.

Sorry for the late entry, busy day... User: rwillems Weigh-in Day: Sunday PW: 282.2 Lbs CW: 278.0 Lbs. (Down 4.2 lbs) Now hopefully I won't bounce back up again! I want to thank my friend, @lindamtuck2018, for the words of encouragement last week when I was ready to just chuck it all. She said, "Just start with one…

Hello team! Happy Sunday. Here are my weekly numbers @lindamtuck2018: User: rwillems Weigh-in day: Sunday PW: 278.6 lbs CW: 282.2 lbs (up 3.6 lbs. 🙁) As you can see, I continue to struggle up one week, down the next, then back up again. Clearly, I need to change focus. What had been working so well in the past just isn’t…

Good Morning team!. I hope all of you US citizens made it through another “fall back” as we make our semi annual clock adjustment. (Yes, I realize that some states within the US have also scrapped concept of daylight savings time, realizing we no longer live in an 18th century largely agrarian society!). Anyway that’s my…

Here you go @lindamtuck2018. Not much progress this week, but we are on the road again - not my usual scale, schedule is erratic, and meals can be touch and go. Not complaining, we love to travel, but traveling can be somewhat disruptive to a diet plan. Name: rwillems Weigh-in day: Sunday PW: 279.4 lbs CW: 279.2 lbs

@lindamtuck2018 Hi Linda, Here are my unspectacular numbers for the week (yawn!) Member: rwillems Weigh-in Day: Sunday PW: 279.4 lbs CW: 279.4 lbs (No Change) 'till next week, have a great week.

@lindamtuck2018 We all have an occasional Bad week. It happens. New week -- New Start. You'll get that pound back and then some. What is Jiggs Dinner? Just curious. I am on a strict "NO SALT" diet so it sounds like it is not something I would be able to eat but I am curious about regional/Local fare. Some of the best meals…

I had a similar problem. My Fitbit died a few months ago -- it literally fell apart. Since it had been my 4th Fitbit I began looking around for something a little more reliable. I have an Apple watch which seems to track steps well, but as you found with the Google watch, it loses it charge after about a day of wearing it.…

As you know, we have been away at our Summer home since June. Nice thing with having a place like this is that the family (children, grandchildren, etc) like to come and visit. Unfortunately, it also means ice cream, donuts, s'mores, grabbing something to eat at the beach, etc. I can not think of anything worse for…
