It's important to be in a calorie deficit in order to lose weight. In order to not be starving when doing this, you typically have to eat very nutritious dense food. I'm no fan of restricting. That's how people fall off. Try to get as many macronutrients as you can while staying under your calorie deficit. You can still…

Sounds awesome, will have to try! Thanks. Also, this original post is old AF. lol

How long have you been doing this? It takes time. You may not have been giving it enough time. Also, 1360 is way too low for a 6'3 human.

I know people shooting down your idea may seem a little harsh, but in the end, they're just telling you the truth. If you really want to do something that makes you feel better about your diet, just cut out "junk". Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, stay away from fast food, cook all your meals yourself, etc. Cleanses…

Not really.

Sorry I'm late to this; but the post about not all MS being progressive is true. For some it just shows up and then disappears. She has relapse remitting. She has had a couple of issues since then, but nothing too serious thankfully. We're hoping it stays that way for a while. :)

Say something to your boss then. It's clearly inappropriate unprofessional behavior.

Wtf? People actually say this kind of stuff to people? Expletives would have ensued.

I pretty much hate doing all of it lol. But I hate it when I DON'T do it. I am a cardio person more than a lifting person. But that's only because i'm scared to death to try and start lifting. One day though...I WILL!

Nothing helped my acne except for Accutane. But I would NOT recommend that stuff; it's only for severe, chronic acne that never gets any better. The only reason why I even mention is to just reiterate the fact that it doesn't matter what you eat; it's going to flare regardless, especially if your hormones are all crae crae.

and LMAO a sauna suit while running? I just guffawed outloud

Good luck with that.

I agree with most of the things said here, but I also kind of disagree. I'll probably get attacked for this, and that's fine, I can handle it. But I feel like a lot of these people are projecting their anger from what happened in their own abusive childhoods. That's fine, and I think it's good advice that you are being…

If you just want one without a heart rate monitor, i've heard the Fitbit One is the best. For heart rate, I think the charge is supposed to be better than the surge. It is also cheaper.

Scales are jerks. Your body weight is going to flucuate due to water or pms. Weight loss isn't linear. You'll lose 5lbs, gain 2. Lose 1 lb, gain 1lb, etc. Just make sure, in general, the numbers are going down. Also start taking measurements.

Please weigh your food. You are overestimating what you're eating. I was doing the same thing when I first started losing. It can be hundreds of calories that you're not accounting for and that can really mess you up.

pls don't. just cut calories.

I don't have any answers. I love rice. I started out at 138 and I'm at 120 now and I did it while eating rice. I will never not eat any rice. I will make room for it and if I have to run 6 miles to eat (that was a joke, that's not necessary) it I am going to run that 6 miles lol. Rice and Potatoes. 2 things I will never…

This is a great point. I often tout the whole moderation thing too, because it works. But it doesn't work for everyone and I fail to acknowledge that point most times. Being greedy and having 0 self control is one thing, but not being able to move is another. It actually doesn't work that well for me. It does when I'm…

ha! Me too :) I'm also going to be 32 in July. copycat.

Gorgeous then, and now!

If it bothers you, eat more

Hi Ashley, sorry you're having some trouble. I think most people do, starting out. Losing weight is pretty much 100% mental, outside of working out. It can be tough if you're on the go all of the time, but like ferziano said, you can still make better choices with your foods. Start becoming educated about local food places…

lol no.

If you like it, why bother switching? I feel like this is some kind of ploy to start an apple/android war lol. Just go test some phones and and make your own decision. They're different. Any answer you get is probably not going to help you at all because it's all a matter of personal preference. I have an apple and an…

I think the problem with most folks is that they are told over and over again by media and weight loss companies who are trying to sell something, that weight loss means "Take this pill" or "cut this out of your diet", or whatever, instead of relaying the truth: it doesn't cost money to lose weight. You don't have to be on…

Waste of money, darling.
