That's some BS. Unless they have some sort of other disability that they cannot control, fatness is no excuse for not going to work. Tons of obese go to work everyday!

Yea^^. When I was losing, it took me like 9 months to lose 18 lbs. I started off at 138. Don't rush it :)

5'4 and 121 give or take a lb. I'm happy where I'm at. I started off at 138 and I have a small frame and it was in weird places (lol) so I felt like it needed to go. I've not been heavier than that.

^^ true, but they work hard so they also deserve to be compensated. No one's claiming they should be rich, but teachers are pretty undervalued in most places.
