I work from home but I did lose the sit down desk and work standing up. I also walk whist on the phone. I have a treadmill in the next room and will jump on that when listening to conference calls etc.

I use a garmin forerunner 230 with a garmin chest strap hrm. I find them to be far more accurate than the wrist mounted trackers with hrm's built in. You can also add on a cadence sensor for biking as well.

Be 100% accountable and track it all! You only cheat yourself by doing so. Add some additional exercise on the weekends to help compensate. Want pizza? get a different kind, veggie or just have 2 slices in stead of 3. It's all about give and take and finding a balance. You can still eat those things but do so in moderation…

I think the guy is full of it. I am down 1.5 this week just from tracking and walking albeit I am at 30 miles and over 100k steps. I keep my heart rate at 118-120 a 3.4-3.6 mph. Weight lifting does burn calories but it also adds muscle density which does not necessarily equate to weight loss. It depends on your goal.…
