I never thought I'd see the day I'd buy this. I tend to hate substitutes for things. Combine that with a love for peanut butter, and I even shocked myself by buying PB2. I don't ever intend to use it mixed with water as a spread. I've put it in my yogurt before, and it adds a little peanut butter taste. Nothing…

I was gonna say Bloodline too! Also, Haters Back Off was hilarious!

Guess I'll find out..

This. I've stepped on the scale, stepped off, stepped back on and had a pound difference. I chalk it up to the scale not an actual change in my weight in those few seconds.

It's not dumb. You'll tell them when - or if - you're ready. They may be your parents, but that doesn't mean you have to tell them about this. It's your private life to disclose as you choose. I know that fear of being judged, so I can relate. Just remember that what's going on isn't your fault, that relationships -…

Oh my gosh, I live on a tiny base in Germany, and we just got it here last week. I tried it for the first time yesterday and fell in love - and that's coming from someone who cannot handle substitutes for real deliciousness. And I only got vanilla, not my choice ever, and I still really liked it. If I'm lucky I'll get to…

Just want to add that sugar is not a macro. It's a form of carbohydrates. Protein is the other macro, and it's definitely important. As far as whether it's a bad idea for you specifically to eat a lot of fruit.. I'd say it depends on what your calorie goal is. If you're trying to stick to 1200 calories but get so full from…

In case you need any more tips, I found this website super helpful even though I'm not following the Stronglifts program: https://stronglifts.com/deadlift/ What I found helpful in getting this part down is to pull so that my arms are tight as part of my setup. That way when I'm actually lifting, there's nothing else for…

My suggestion is to take the timeline out of the equation. Deadlines add stress for me. They also add a sense of, "oh, I can just eat whatever I want today because I still have 9 months to get where I want to be." That's just me though. It might be motivating for you, but at the very least, I would suggest being gentle…

Maybe you could try looking at it a bit differently. Because the reality is that while you won't know exactly how many calories you're eating, you won't have no idea either. You've been doing this for three years, so I'm assuming you have some sense of how many calories are in things. I'm also assuming you haven't been…

@lizery that's an interesting idea! @jemhh I'm outside the states. @livingleanlivingclean they're unsalted.

I've only tested my 1rm on deadlifts, and I can pull 245lbs. I managed a good set of five at 205lbs last week though, which is new for me, so maybe I could pull more now on a single. I can comfortably squat 175lbs for five reps. I was up to 185lbs for five, but I've backslid a bit on those. Bench is my worst lift at 100lbs…

@Christine_72 yeah, it's definitely not like cottage cheese! It's more like greek yogurt but thicker and creamier.. I just eat the plain kind and add things to it.
-
Thanks y'all :) I'm in a very rural part of Germany on a very small military base, so my options are hugely limited.
-
Yeah I probably should have just said greek yogurt.. Thanks though!

I'm a chain chewer when I get on a roll, but I try to have some self-control. I may or may not be chewing a piece right now and thinking about replacing it with a new one....

What?

The other day my boss said to me, "you go to the gym before and after work!? You're crazy!" I just smiled and thought to myself what would happen if I'd said, "you don't go to the gym!? You're so lazy!" No point getting angry about it..

I was going to mention the love languages too. Not only does it help you show love in a way they understand and desire, it can also help you recognize when they're trying to show love in a way that's not your primary language. For example, if your love language is touch and your partner's is acts of service, you can start…

This makes me happy..

Maybe you're eating at maintenance and only lifting enough to maintain your current muscle mass? That's all I got..

Bandon.

Southern coast!? I'm not from there but spent a lot of childhood summers there.

Maybe there's a way to change how you communicate with your family, some way they might be more responsive to. This is not to say you're doing anything wrong! I'm just thinking that if you're the only one unhappy with the situation and willing to work to change it, you might try adjusting somehow. With your husband, do you…

If you're eating in a deficit, you're not going to gain weight. You may add muscle while you're losing fat, but it won't be a 1:1 ratio. You'll lose more fat than you gain muscle.

General awesomeness.. :) I'm honestly not sure. I didn't ask.

I eat my biggest meal in the evenings. Maybe that would work?

I've been a vegetarian most of my life, and I have an open diary. I'm a creature of habit though, so it might not be that interesting!

I thought I was the only one who called them fishy crackers!

Sometimes my husband sees me eat dinner and then thirty minutes later asks me what I'm going to eat for dinner! It's not sabotage. He just forgets I guess. Remember that you are responsible for yourself and your choices and that he can't make you do anything. Maybe next time politely decline to take part in the baking - if…
