I did switch to green tea about a year ago. It didn't make me lose any weight and that wasn't my goal at the time, plus I have always taken my coffee black so it didn't really make a difference calorie wise. I went back to coffee within 4 months because I love coffee and I was sad avoiding it. I personally did not feel any…

I like to have a shake for breakfast, but change up the flavors. I have about 6 different flavors I can choose from (usually ending up with either chocolate raspberry or chocolate peanut butter). Lunches, I've been doing a frozen dinner lately (Kashi has some vegan bowls that are pretty good). For dinner we make one staple…

Why were you eating something that caused this? I really would be concerned and go to the doctor, get an allergy test done.

Non-Waistband carry is probably the best option. Either a secure leg, holster, bra attachment would work from the sound of it. Even as a size 6 - I will not carry on my waistband while exercising for the same reasons you listed. The laws in your area may not consider a leg, ankle, or holster open carry, so please research…

Another vote for intervals. It will give you a starting point to work against, if you choose to continue running. For example, if you run it in 45 minutes, next time try for less than 40, and so on. There are typically two packs of runners at a 5k, the sub-25 minute folks and the over 30 minute folks. You will not be the…

They won't let you use a rash guard instead? That might be an option for the bottoms, rash guards on amazon are stretchy and range in size. Maybe a rash guard or gi for the top? Other option is to have the gi altered at a tailor or dry cleaner...

I've tried BJJ, but I've been doing Krav Maga for 7 months, 3x a week.

Chocolate and lentils do come from plants... so she's not completely wrong. Milk chocolate obvs. has milk in it, but lots of dark chocolate doesn't.

How do you make it for free? Beans, coffee maker, k-cups, filters all cost money. I use regular coffe beans and a French press, but even that cost money...obviously not as expensive as a $4 coffee from Starbucks. To answer the question, the Caramel Light frappuccino is only 140 cals, not too bad and tastes good. The…

Silken wont really cook up like the other recipes suggested. I've used silken tofu in smoothies and as a base for "cheese" sauces. It might work for scrambled tofu, as well but I've never personally tried that.

I use it multiple times a week in different ways, my diary is open so you can check that out. Ways I've used it: chocolate raspberry smoothie, chocolate coconut shake, dark chocolate shake. I've combined it with coco powder and yogurt which seems pretty good. I also think the coco powder and / or extract covers up some of…

Possibly because of the fiber content? I know that for me, those types of snack foods cause me bloating and constipation, but the vegetables and starches wouldn't. That could possibly effect the scale. At least for the day and maybe a few days after, it might cause someone to weigh more.

Did you update your current weight to adjust your calorie goal? If your old goal at 160lbs wasn't updated to reflect current weight, you could be eating at maintenance now. Are you weighing your food? Nuts and avocados are pretty dense and may take you over. I struggled a lot with this as a vegan/plant based because I…

Are you watching your form in the mirror? I tend to let my back do some of the work unconsciously if I am not watching at least the first one or two tricep pulldowns or dips. Some lifts are easier to see if no mirror is available, skullcrushers or some of the others mentioned.

I really don't like the Net Calorie report - it takes the exercise calories out of the total eaten for the day. Unless you are eating back exercise calories, it will always show as way too low. I know that my exercise calorie burn is way too high in this app and I may eat back 50-100 calories or so but it will always look…

On Saturday you ate back the deficit you had maintained by eating 2,350 cals. If this is a regular thing, cheat days where you go 700+ over the goal can erase the effort of the rest of the days. I would suggest incorporating small treats on days where you have 900-1,100 cals (daily goal still at 1,200 to 1,350) so that you…

How are the calories measured on the kettlebell? I am not 100 percent familiar with the key fobs but I believe they plug into the machine and use the machine estimate of calorie burn... If that's true, the machine may be over estimating which happens pretty frequently. It also may be that the HRM slipped and wasn't…

I should have added that when I started out this process years ago my ratio was 0.61.

My ratio is 0.72, some things I have noticed about working out: leggings/shorts with no drawstring are not an option for any workout involving impact and ALWAYS check transparency of althetic pants prior to walking out the door. I will definitely have to pull up my leggings at least twice during any workout, haha I have…

I am getting better at making it - not sure what I am doing wrong. Sometimes maybe not enough liquid, but it disintegrates a little in the broth and then is not great texture wise. I love using it different ways and finding out new recipes!

Ugh, I had the same problem when I started doing SL! I would strain my Achilles, then my shoulder, then hamstring... The thing that finally helped was doing yoga once a week, it helped me with form and flexibility+strength. Best of luck to you!

I mean, you could look at the blog... Since you mentioned it. They have information on this very topic. The creator was once vegetarian, before they started going no-oil vegan and whatnot.

I've been doing yoga for over 8 years, every class and yoga teacher is different. What type of class is it? If it's at a gym or studio and just labeled yoga, it'll probably be a vinyasa/flow type class. The teacher will give you alternative poses or you can use blocks. You can even let them know it's your first time and…
