  • No, that honestly baffles me. Have you ever played D&D
  • Yup- Solar eclipse beach sunrise. Seriously magical Have you ever visited an active volcano?
  • Technically- hurricane winds, but up in PNW so it's more of dodging trees Have you ever faced a fear and won?
  • Evacuated from school several times, but not the town. Have you ever ridden out a large earthquake?
  • Nope. Have you ever stayed up for one last page only to finish the book?
  • YES-easily. (My niece used to make me watch Spy Kids so much I hid it) Have you ever drank more than 4 litres/ 1 gallon in a day?
  • No. Have you ever restarted a movie right after watching it?
  • I'm currently waiting impatiently for my D&D game to start. People are late :\
  • Seahawks, no question. I live in Australia, but I'm from Olympia and my family is just going nuts back in the states. My grandpa had season tickets from the beginning to his dying days and passed on his fanatic love to basically everyone in my family. Heck my uncle has an entire rec room full of Seahawk gear from the 70's…
  • I suggest that you count your calories and weigh your food, it is so easy to eat much more than you expect. Measuring yourself may also help, to see whether or not you are gaining muscle with all the gyming. Additionally, I think that maybe you should get your thyroid checked and ask your doctor about other tests (for…
  • Definitely great advice, that's why I only did 3 yesterday. I knew something was wrong the second I felt pain and stopped. Today's exercise left me feeling stretched not sore. After I was done, I was still able to do the shopping and cleaning so my knees are much happier, as they should be. My Pt said that these exercises…
  • Alright- so just updating, I videoed myself doing it this morning, using a lot of the pointers you guys gave and removing the chair from the picture. Not only did I feel it in all the right places, removing the chair and recording it allowed me to see that I just can't bend far enough to get to the chair without my knees…
  • I'm fortunately one of the very lucky ones. Levo has been amazingly effective for me and I haven't had too much issue with dosage. So fortunately my joint pain is quite rare, just bad when it happens. I also can't help but think - "I've got **** to do," "I'm too young for this." I also got tested for coeliacs about 3 or 4…
  • First challenge, hopefully this will help with my goal of -4 kgs/month. It's a bit aggressive, so the more accountability the better! I may come back tomorrow and edit this so it has February numbers. But anyway Name: Christina Age: 27 Height: 5'5 Start weight (1st Feb): Goal weight (1st March): 98.0 kg Weigh ins: Jan 29:…
  • No I messed it up royally about a decade years ago playing sports and, since the PT I saw at the time sucked, I didn't think it was too bad and just iced it for a while. Ever since then I've just had this bum knee that I've been ignoring and let it heal incorrectly. That plus a lifetime of being obese has caused a lot of…
  • I've never heard of any anti-inflammatory drugs killing off bacterial flora. Do you have some links for this? I'd love to read more. I think it may be possible that wheat set me off. I recently went wheat free and since my eczema has cleared up I may have an allergy to wheat. Is joint pain a sign of wheat allergies or…
  • This is a great suggestion! I'm going back next week for a check up so I'm sure she would be willing to have me record her. Thanks everyone for your help. I only did 3 (out of the 30 I'm supposed to do) this morning before I went "nope, nope that's not how that should feel!". That was still enough to make my knee a bit…
  • Nope Have you ever smashed an inanimate object (for example a toaster) because you were angry with it.
  • Nope, seriously didn't know it was a thing until College. Have you ever been careless with fireworks?
  • I think a bit part of why my doctors all mentioned my weight is my family history is SCARY. Diabetes in about 60% of the previous generations, high cholesterol in everyone on my mom's side (including myself), Heart attacks killing off family members- grandpas (62 and 58) and an uncle at 38. Another reason it was also…
  • My PT did show me, but she also went through several other ones so it's a bit of a blur and I'm not sure exactly what I'm doing wrong. I may record myself on my phone. Might be easier to see what's up that way.
  • What can I say Dr Seuss is amazing and "There's a monster at the end of this book" still makes me giggle.
  • When my neice was little I would read to her every night mostly because I loved her books.
  • Nope Have you ever finished the whole cake?
  • Yup :'( (I've also had an allergic reaction a few times there too- fragrance toilet paper is the worst idea ever!) Nappy rash cream works on adults too. Have you ever been so rude you made someone else cry?
  • I confess I have a huuuuuuuge crush on Jack Black. Can't explain it, the man is just epic.
  • Dear lord the amount of negativity on this thread is shocking. Agree with someone, disagree with someone- everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Post journal articles if you want (the more the better). But there is no reason to be so antagonistic or mean. Personally, I've been slowly switching to a Paleo diet since…
  • I've had over a decade of unhelpful doctors, most of which I felt just barked at me to lose weight, without any help on how. Some of the very special ones even insinuated I was liar and made me feel like a hypochondriac, but that's besides the point. It didn't matter what I was there for either: physical to play sports-…
  • I can't say I'm too surprised. Honestly I'm using it loosely more as a temporary elimination diet to help figure out my guts and in the possible dim ray of hope it helps my husband's chronic fatigue.
  • I think the paleo diet is BS pseudoscience. However, my eczema, intestines, and BM's have really been much more pleasant since being on it. (Personally, I think a big part of that though is because it has helped me eliminate foods that were making me feel like crap. But if it works..)
