Oh man, we eat a buttload of eggs too, I buy at least 3-18 egg cartons a week. I feel better eating my 3 eggs omelettes in the morning than I ever did eating toast. Going to let my body be my guide on this one and say eggs are all good. :-)

This right here. I've done both in the past, and am currently on (and loving) low carb, but low calorie is non-negotiable to lose weight. That's a must. Low carb is hard to do, and best after you've gotten the hang of the 'dieting' and watching your portions. It takes quite a bit of prep and finding good low carb snacks…

Your findings are identical to my partners. He's a type one diabetic. Usually would take 6-8 injections a day (slow and fast acting). Hes down to 2 a day now (just slow). He's so much happier and doesn't have such a hard time controlling his highs. He also doesn't sweat through the bedsheets after dinner anymore. Poor…

Cool. I love 30DS. It's a good workout if you ever can't get to the gym too! I'll try and do it with you. At least 5 days a week. I suck at pushups too.....

Shoot for the moon! Even if you miss you land in the stars..... Seriously though, it all depends on your mindset. Make your goal 135 - as long as you have the right attitude. When you wake up on your birthday and the scale reads 158 - would you really be disappointed in yourself? Or would be you like "Hell yeah! I lost 67…

What a handsome young man! And he sounds like he has great character too. Congrats to you son - for losing all that weight and making himself a healthier person. And congrats to you Mom, for raising him well. (-:

Like everyone else has said, a half pound fluctuation can barely be considered a gain. It's a glass of water or a slightly full bladder. Aside from that, take this as a sign that you're getting that much closer to your goal. When you have a lot of lose, weekly losses are almost guaranteed - once you start getting closer to…

I worked as a bra fitter for a short while, and in my experience most peoples band size will change with a big loss (30 lbs +), but not always the cup. The cup size will go down with every band size (So the total volume of the DD cup on a 32 band bra isn't the same total volume of a DD cup on a 38 Band), so often even…

I'm not expert, but I'd look at your food diary if able to and give some advice! :-) It's so disheartening to not lose when you're working so hard. When are you due for your next progress pics for 30 day shred? It's possible you're changing your body without losing lbs that the scale would register. You're making a…

10C/60F/30P is my ideal, but I don't always hit those marks. I end up keeping it low on carbs. My BF is a diabetic, so for us it's just easier. Since eating this way I feel healthier than when I ate low fat, higher carb. Studies be dammed. As long as you feel healthy then everyone should do what works best for their own…

You were a pretty woman before, but in the after you look hot! Nicely done! Keep at it! I'm about the same as your current - 5'7" and 192!
-
Congrats! That's such a great feeling isn't it? FItting into skinnier jeans! You sound so petite! Like a Polly Pocket! Good luck on reaching your goal!
-
So hot! Great job! You must feel like a million bucks! Congrats for picking yourself up and turning your life around!

anette_15, I'm coming over for dinner. i think we have the same "foodie" tastes. That tuna? And what in the name of all that is glorious and delicious is tiramisu toast? Sorry I have nothing to add but a thread jack.

Thanks for the recommendation OP, i'll be sure to check it out. My partner is diabetic and finds it easier to keep the carbs low, so this could be a sensible solution (in moderation). Sometimes people here seem to be a little on the hyper-critical bandwagon, hey?

As much as I care about losing weight to be healthy... I confess more than anything I want to be hot again. Messed.

Deal! I'll have to actually weigh myself tomorrow. Eekkk.....

I'll join you. I'd love to be in the 150's by the summer. I like making lofty goals - even if I don't quite get there, it tends to motivate me more.
