Good morning everyone. I’m starting the UAC for the first time. I’ve had a hard time making a lasting commitment to my health and weight loss and I’m hoping with the support and successes of the group I’ll stay focused to keep at it. I lost 30 lbs in 2018 using MFP, stayed within 5 lbs of that thru 2019 and am fighting to…

Hey Luvy! Welcome! That feeling of excitement is crucial for continued success. An important thing to remember.... this isn't some much a program as it is a lifestyle.. you have to find what will work for you long term. A have fun and get it off and keep it off lifestyle. Great advice from LJ. I'd love to have both of you…

I have some great friends on here that are very helpful & encouraging and I love to follow their progress & successes, and some that are active but don't reach out much. It is a lot easier with friendly friends along for the ride! Add me if you want to be my cheerleader and want me to be yours!

Me too! Sending you friend request!! Have a great day... no regrets!!

Am restarting for the hundredth time. Planning to lose another 30 pounds (planning to, not just hoping to) and need support. Sending you a friend request. Let's share ideas and inspiration and do this!!

Working on 3 day run AF and thinking of reasons why I deserve a drink. Ha! My family deserves me to stay sober why more than I deserve anything. Staying strong 💪

2 days in a row AF... major accomplishment for me.

I'm in for March. I've been binge drinking A LOT and must stop. It's ruining so many aspects of my life and causing embarrassment and dare I say, shame. I don't want to continue to be this person I've become. My goal for March is more AF days than not, and limit to 2 drinks on those days I indulge, log all calories, no…

I like it! Wishing you success!!

Yup, I agree with whoever said I think my favourite part of the tracking is the last sentence that says, 'If everyday was like today, you would weigh XX in 5 weeks!' What a little wake up call. I'll be 60 in a few months. Lost 30 pounds In 2018, stayed steady throughout 2019 and now am back at it to lose the other 30. Love…

Yes, lots of great advice here! A lot that I needed to be reminded of. MFP is such a great community. Only thing I can add is a new lifestyle to improve health and lose weight has to be sustainable to find lasting success. Welcome back @robingmurphy, sounds like you're now off to a great start. Best to you!

It's amazing how small changes in routines, can make or break progress. Hang in there everyone. Keep taking as good a care of yourself as you're able, restart and recommit every day and don't get discouraged if the scale doesn't move downward. Did you eat good food today? Did you get some exercise, move your body? Did you…
