Good for you! I'm on my 12th or 20th restart. Today is Day 3. I don't moderate well so abstinence is the way to go for me right now. Yes, I think indulging in yummy beverages as long as staying within daily calorie limit is a good idea. Think I'll try Orphia's bitters with lime & lemon. Hang in there, you can do this!

I've lost consistently (and very slowly) since my February restart. Eating most everything I did while i was packing the pounds on, difference now is portions. Weighing & measuring is crucial. Exercise is the key for me. Takes a lot of dedication, and it's worth it.

I've totally dropped the ball. Ugh. What is wrong with me?? I used to RISE to ANY challenge... now I procrastinate, look for excuses, spend more time thinking about doing what I should than it would've taken to actually DO IT

Good morning all! Happy Friday :) i had a great anniversary, enjoyed dinner out and 2 glasses of champagne. And then i quit! Too frequently in the past, I'd get home and say hmmmmm, wouldn't an after dinner drink be nice and then proceed to drink til drunk, munch on whatever i had in the pantry.... chips, nuts, cookies....…

I also grew up with alcoholics, married one, am one. So much here I can relate to. Is so hard to give up drinking, even with all the bad memories. There are so many good memories too. And bittersweet. Day 6 and feeling ok. Have a great day everyone. And as always, thanks for sharing <3

Day 5. Doing ok with it. Am in a funk due to some other issues that normally I'd deal with with drinks. Not going there. Decided to lay down for a siesta instead, be good to myself, take advantage of a clear schedule and relax. Hope everyone’s having a good weekend
