Late afternoon and late night snacking are my biggest dieting issues. I'm in! Today, me: 1; LNS: 0

I'm 5'2" and my goal weight is 105. Admittedly 5 pounds underweight but I figure I should aim for that weight to get under 110.

I feel your pain. Big Red gum helps - it's sweet and the strong cinnamon taste helps combat cravings. Nature valley bars can satisfy cravings but at 170 - 190 cals, they are not really low-calorie.

The Firm workout tapes three times a week and jumping rope three times a week and one rest day.

I'm fairly new myself and over 40 as well. Looking to lose 29 more pounds.

Hi Danashaharriram - I've never had C-sections either but I've learned to consciously hold in my stomach when I walk, stand, do squats. All of that helps tone my stomach. Plus simply dieting and walking a lot will really help bring down your stomach.

Very motivating - thanks!

I agree with Dianne - carbs help but I limit it to whole wheat bread or a sweet roll. Bananas help - I've eaten them with caramel sauce. Nature Valley sweet & salty peanut bars help. Just try to limit the damage by keeping high calorie foods out of your home or buying single serve items.

I'm in the same boat, Emily, with 30 pounds to lose. The only difference is I'm much older than you. I always lose some weight but not as much as I'd like and it comes off slowly. Just keep at it and know that you're not the only one going through this.

Annalicious - I know exactly what you mean and I'm struggling with the same issues (rice and peas is just not the same without the coconut milk!). I just try to bake instead of fry, make lots of soup, keep away from bread, and save the heavy stuff for special occasions.
