  • I'm the same way. I don't go to a gym because of my two. Then again, I'm their b*tch. I got a foldable bench and the adjustable Bowflex dumbbells and just do what I can with them. I get a dog kiss every time I do a sit-up. Also, I just hate people and would much rather do what I can at home. As one user stated, two dogs…
  • Yep I went on vacay last month and ate whatever I felt like and only gained a pound. Enjoy yourself.
  • The Fitbit and your phone or the Fitbit and MFP?
  • THIS! Chassis and I were out yesterday and a huge freaking dog came out the gate acting vicious toward us. Seriously, made my boxer look like a teacup poodle. Scared the *kitten* outta me. Of course, Chassis acting like the drunk girl at the bar didn't help. She was holding her own being vicious right back. Luckily it was…
  • Yes! I was trying to think of the name of it and couldn't. That's it. Yeah he still tries sometimes to get it off but like I said, I gave him treats a couple times a day while making him put his nose thru the hole to get them and then had him wear it while he ate his food for about a week. He got used to it slowly before I…

  • I just started my husky/pit with a head harness. It took me a week or so of giving him treats and putting it on him for a few minutes at the time for him to get used to it but its working pretty well. He's 75 lbs and way stronger than me. Even the prong collar was nothing for him. Now he's been walking for about a week…
  • I have a boxer that I might start running with. I jog here and there with her but she always want to sniff stuff. I just don't want to overheat her because of her short-ish nose. Brachycephalic dog breeds have a tendency to overheat. Just keep an eye out for that. I also have a husky/pit who is only a year old and still…
  • This is Chassis, Roscoe the Ruiner's sister. I've had her for 3 years and have had a few fosters come and go before Roscoe came along. She's my perfect baby girl and I still carry her around from time to time. She's a momma's girl for sure. She goes everywhere she can with me.
  • Meet Roscoe the Ruiner. He was a foster failure because he's really, really, ridiculously good-looking and the boyfriend fell in love with him. I tell him every day that his eyes are his meal ticket and if it weren't for his luck in the gene pool, he'd probably have never left the shelter. He's almost as big as me and he's…
  • I'm the same way but I think its because I pee out all my liquids and I'm dehydrated.
  • Where does it say she's trying to lose 2 lbs a week? I'm 4'11" and have mine set to 1/2 a pound per week and I'm at 1200 calories too. We're little. We don't need as many calories. Also, I go through this feeling every so often. I've found that it helps to take a diet break or have refeed days. I've also read that eating…
  • I don't like mushy oatmeal either but I started mixing some of the dry kind in with my greek yogurt and eating it while it's crunchy and I like it better that way. I have that a lot at work in the mornings.
  • I cut out the booze but I just had a Snickers for lunch. Priorities amirite?
  • I didn't completely cut out the booze but I did slow down a lot. I was used to having a glass of wine or two every night and now I might have a glass once a week. It's crazy how many calories booze has. Also I sleep a lot better now.
  • I have a Charge HR now but before I used my Polar FT4. It has a chest band that tracks heart rate and is actually more accurate than this Charge HR. It tells calories burned based on the heart rate. If you're only looking to use it during workouts, it's nice and accurate and it's only like $50 on Amazon now. Anything that…
  • I've got 4 lbs and I just did a diet break for 10 days to Jumpstart my metabolism again. After 3 months of caloric deficit, I started getting crazy hungry all the time and always tired. So I read online about refeeding and diet breaks and decided to go that route. Today's actually my first day back to eating less and I'm…
  • I'm 4'11 99 lbs and all my fat is in my stomach. It's great. Not. Been strength training as of late though and my butt has gotten a little bigger, thankfully.
  • I just recently added the step bar to mine too and it took a while to show. Maybe completely exit out of both apps or like that ^^ person said, restart your phone.
  • Eggs, bananas, bags of apples, peanut butter, big bags of frozen vegetables, chicken legs, rice...all cheap. That's most of what I eat.
  • If you do cardio, I'd recommend something with continuous heart rate monitoring whether its Fitbit or another brand. That way you'll know how many calories you've burned.
  • Heck no. I don't know how they get those numbers but I'm 4'11 and I burn way less calories than normal sized people. I can work out twice a day while my boyfriend plays Xbox all day and he'll still burn way more calories than me. We both have Fitbits so we compare in the evenings. I also have a Polar FT4 and it's more…
  • I'm 34. Y'all can add me too.
  • Y'all are fancy. Most of the time I just have a little container of plain greek yogurt and add half a cup of frozen fruit. More fiber and less sugar than flavored yogurt. Even my dogs get a few frozen berries on their breakfast now.

  • Oh and if you get a Fitbit, get the Charge HR. There is a difference between the Charge HR and regular Charge. BTW they're on sale at Verizon now thru the end of the month. BF works there so he got mine and with his discount it was about half price.
  • I have a Polar FT4 and I recently got a Charge HR as an early Christmas gift. I've worn them both at the same time a couple times while exercising. I think the Polar one is more accurate. It said I burned more calories and that my heart rate was higher. Still...I'm sticking with the Fitbit because I don't have to wear that…
