I weigh myself every day, except for when I know I've eaten a bit too much the previous day. I don't get upset when the scale goes up a bit because I know fluctuations are normal. The only thing I don't do is log the weight when it's up. I find it more motivating to look at a chart that is constantly in a downward trend.

I have a predisposition where I like to overeat. The only way I've been able to get anywhere past them is to try not to think about them negatively. For example, I no longer try to obsess about the fact that I was (am still kinda) a binge eater. I tell myself that there's no such thing as "bad" food. I don't let myself…

I don't tell my family/friends I'm losing weight so they don't ask me what kind of "magic" I'm using. I have spoken with my coworkers about it because they see me everyday and can kinda tell that my clothes are getting a tiny bit loose on me (I've only lost 16 pounds so far). What I find interesting/mildly annoying is that…

I know the feeling, I myself am getting married on August 8th, and I'm terrified that I'll look like an absolute balloon in my wedding dress (which I haven't even picked yet lol).

Don't consider it a cheat, consider it a treat! If you've been doing good all week then have that margarita! :) Just remember to go back to business as usual tomorrow.

The first picture I'm going to post is a before/after from a failed attempt at losing weight. It says 260 but I actually was 270 (and I didn't want to admit it). The one it's attached to says 221, and that is accurate. The second one is from this morning, and I weigh 249 currently. My face didn't balloon up as badly as the…

I get the sugarfree iced vanilla coffee. A large is only 160 calories I believe. It's obviously a bit less sweet, but it still tastes good in my opinion. I know it's not mcdonald's, but my other go-to when I'm out is an iced sugarfree hazelnut latte with soy milk from Starbucks. That one is only 170 calories for a venti.

For years I pretty much never actually felt what hunger was. I just ate when I felt like it. Now I try to push it and make sure I'm really hungry when I first eat in the day. I coped with anxiety by eating for a long time. I didn't really realize it until a few years ago when I was out with my fiance and a friend and we…

So, I have a confession. When I first when on birth control a few years ago, I would watch shows like Biggest Loser, Extreme Makeover Weightloss Edition (which I still love btw), and this show and I'd just sit there and cry and eat. Now I pretty much can't stand Biggest Loser. I haven't watched the 600 pound life show in a…

I basically skimmed the article and got the gist of "Everything is fine in moderation" which works for me. What I thought was interesting is the tidbit about olive oil and carcinogens. I'll have to tell my fiance about that because he fries everything in olive oil.

That sounds good. I'm from the southside of Chicago, IL, and everyone of my friends here would make fun of me but I actually like thin crust better lol. If I was ordering a pizza just for myself I'd probably just get plain extra cheese. Since it's usually me and my fiance sharing a pizza we compromise (he normally likes…

That would make sense. See, the problem is that he and I can split a large pizza in between the two of us. I think if we were going to have to try this method we'd have to order a small pizza to split it. I've tried to have him look for nutrition info there and he basically can't find anything, lol. I think a small pizza…

I used to work out with a coworker who would do this. She kept trying to push me to saran wrap myself as well. I had to stop working out with her lol because she kept getting odd looks in the gym when she'd unwrap herself and all of her sweat that was stuck underneath would basically splatter on the floor of the locker…

I once bought a little caesars $5 dollar pizza and ate the entire thing on the way to work after I had already eaten dinner at home (I worked midnight shift for a while). On Saturdays when my shift was 6pm-230am I would regularly stop at a White Castle's on the way home and buy myself a 10 piece mozzarella cheese stick and…

I actually find it easier to eat at a fast food restaurant BECAUSE you can find most of their nutritional info online. It's sit down restaurants that tend to give me anxiety if they don't have nutritional info available.

The only things I don't log on a regular basis are ketchup (which I don't use all that often anyway), bbq sauce if I only use a little bit, and spices. I did have one day recently where I didn't log everything (and it was a REALLY crappy eating day). It was last sunday. I logged about 2500 of the calories I ate, but I…

My current goal is to get under 200lbs, but overall I'd like to lose about 100 more pounds. I have been logging daily since Jan 2nd. Anyone can add me if they'd like.

I had a whole bunch of clothes from high school hiding out in the basement of my parent's house. They were all 14/16 size shirts and pants from Lane Bryant. I'm currently a size 22/24. The idea was that I was hoping eventually to fit back into those clothes. Seeing as it's been 9 years since I graduated high school, I…

What drives me up a wall is you see all these posts on here that say "What should I do?!?" or people who are complaining about how they can't control food, and when you give them solid advice they get all angry because you didn't reveal some kind of magic cure to them. I used my first gif today in a forum. it was this one:

I thought 28g was equal to approximately 3/4 cup. I actually just weigh my cereal out since 28g is just under 1oz.

I've been here for almost 50 days but I wouldn't mind more friends.

I couldn't stand the attitude of weight watchers, and I've done both the old and the new points programs. It was always too restrictive, and I always found if I ate even a little of my flex points or my "free" fruits and vegetables I wouldn't lose weight at all. I would always end up giving up and then I'd end up…

The author is a vegan. That explains all the "don't eat dairy/eggs/red meat" etc. There's a lot of mentions of toxins and how to get rid of them (detox tea, green tea, fruit infused water, and hot water with lemon in the morning. Then there's the general tips of when and how much you should eat (don't skip breakfast, eat…

The only reason I read the whole thing was because last night when I first saw it I was having trouble sleeping. I figured I would post it here today since I assume most people would get a bit of a laugh out of it.

I wake up around 9am, and I don't usually eat my first meal until 4pm. Sometimes if I am feeling extra peckish I'll eat a snack around 2pm.

I do find it amusing that the database goes down and everyone seems to be in a panic. The only reason I'm not panicking is because I eat pretty much the same thing weekly, so all my food is saved in my recent food list...
-
I think the database is currently down. A lot of people aren't able to find things.

Mine tends to yell at me about how my sugar intake is a tad bit too high. I'm just like "w/e....don't care...." I have been focusing more on just meeting calorie goals.

I will eat all of the breads if you don't want them. :)
