I haven't played GW2 in absolute ages. Has it gotten any better, or does it still feel like it's missing something? I happened upon a post saying that ESO is going to be buy to play come March. I'd totally be down with re-installing it, and giving that another shot - not so sure about GW2 though, to be honest. How do you…

From what I gather a lot of those who're doing the female thor costume are going with side pins instead of the full helm. From what I understand they're using custom made pewter molds, albeit I imagine that might be rather difficult to do on your own. I will be honest, I have no idea how this is done. There was someone on…

This is FANTASTIC news! I bought the game and paid for the sub for awhile, but the player base died out, and I got bored with the game as I was around VR 6 or 7 and the zones were dead. If it is going free to play, I will certainly return, and I hope many others will do the same. I am even more thrilled to hear it's more…

I couldn't figure out what it means even when searching Google for it. I did however see that one person referred to it as a Fat v. Protein ratio, but not sure if that is what it means or not.

Hmm, I've never heard of the egg fast before, so I had to read up on it. It certainly sounds interesting! I will have to keep this in mind when I stall out (it happens to us all at some point ! ) I do know, during my first round with MFP, and keto I hit a stall around 160 lbs. I wish I would have heard about this before I…

This website had some amazing looking dairy free / paleo ideas (I am wanting to try some myself ! ) http://ditchthewheat.com/25-dairy-free-ketogenic-recipes/

Awesome information DittoDan. As much as I'm not one for artificial sweeteners anymore, making keto friendly desserts around the holidays with strevia might help me avoid annoying conversations with family when I refuse to eat desserts or certain food items lol. I can't believe I am just now, thinking of this.

Try making flaxseed buns (they are high in calories,) and taste AMAZING with an over medium egg and a bit of mayo. Seriously, they're addicting and help make you regular. Here is the recipe I used (they come out fluffy on the inside ! ) I think it might be worth mentioning however, that I substitute olive oil, for coconut…

I used to use stevia, which says only 5 carbs, but then again it always put me off track (makes me have sweet cravings,) so I don't do any forms of sugar (fake or otherwise) anymore.

I found for me that Senna based tea really helps, but I make sure I drink a cup on my day off - it really really works :) I had some co-workers recommend three ballerina brand, but I simply couldn't wait to try it (ordered some from Amazon,) and picked up a different organic brand from the local health food store.

Eggs are awesome, and high in protein. The same goes for tuna steak. If the doctor says you need to eat the eggs, and cut your carbs by all means listen. No doubt he/she knows your situation inside and out.

I tried and failed the past couple of weeks due to H1z1, and my lack of willpower to put the keyboard down >.> However, I try to justify working 12-13 hour shifts that require me to be on my feet 3 times a week (albeit I no it's not a good excuse.) I'll be interested to hear some good tips myself.

Well, I ended up buying - and when it's up and functioning (it's alpha, what do you expect?) It's actually really fun, and has a lot of potential. I would totally recommend buying it if you like these sorts of games.

Depending on the brand, coconut milk (almond breeze is the most stat friendly imo,) and it also comes in sugar free form, whereas coconut water usually has upwards of 9g of sugar, and it's typically higher in carbs also. Your question was "Am I doing it right? Just today." The answer was simply no, no you were not. I did…

To be blunt, no. You're eating too much protein in contrast to fat, and far too many carbs (looking at Saturday, well this seems to be a reoccurring theme.) Just remember, this is a high fat diet, only moderate protein. Do not be afraid of fat. Also try getting your carbs from leafy greens instead of fruit, or anything…

I eat green beans from time to time, albeit in small quantity (like 3 oz or so.) They also have a few grams of natural sugar in them if I am not mistaken. In any event, they are green veggies, and have never caused me to stall so they're still on my menu :) Edit: I wanted to add that I'm not new to keto or the site (just…

Obvious huge difference and you know it lol. Keep up the good work.

Why not try Almond Breeze unsweetened almond/coconut milk blend with some chocolate whey protein (so yummy, and energizing for a quick breakfast!) I suggest using Six Star Pro Whey Protein Powder. It's very low in sugar, high in protein, but lacking in the fat department. Albeit, it does keep you full for the day :) As far…

As sbom1 said, avoiding those atkins products, and other various LC geared foods (like carbsmart icecream, etc...) is also a good idea. If you're curious, I found this awesome article explaining why in detail that these products are sneaky (e.g. they say only 2 net carbs for example, when really it's much much more than…

I used to go by net carbs, but decided not to (started stalling when I did that.) Personally, most of my meals I do around 3 oz of protein (unless I've fasted all day - I have to make up calories somewhere,) 3-4 oz of green veggies (depending on the veggie as some have more carbs than other) and a serving or two of Dukes…

I fell off the wagon a long while back, and cheating on my way of life (keto) led me back down the road to getting fat again. As soon as I eat too many carbs, or sugary things this is what happens to me: Bloat / puffiness Lethargic Acne comes with sugar consumption (for me) My hair gets greasier / face gets oilier…

I'll be honest...I was suckered into landmark alpha, and as progress on the game continued it got even worse, and the population was always ridiculously low. As the previous poster pointed out - there are tons and tons of horrible zombie survival games out there, and because h1z1 looks like a cross between DayZ (another…

That is awful, and I had no idea they were doing it. Thank you for both your sad, yet informative post. It looks like there a Netflix binge in my very-near future.

That sounds simply mouth-watering :)

Forget Pizza, what about steak, cheese and bacon?

In the past I had always picked personality a bit more so than looks (I've dated some guys in the past who people always told me were super ugly lol,) albeit when I finally settled down and got married I picked my husband for 50/50 looks and personality. Not only does he look good, but when words come out of his mouth I…

If you're looking for a ketone monitor there is a promo going on for a free one right now. I got a free NovaMax awhile back, but seems like now they're doing a similar promo with FreeStyle.…

Well, from exp. I can tell you that some will say do a carb up to reset and then go again, but you really shouldn't if you're not strong willed. I did this a few times and it threw me completely off and made things much much worse (then again, I am an all or nothin type of girl lol.) That said, 20 pounds in three weeks is…

I take a multi-vitamin, and it helps with energy - not so sure about hunger / cravings though. However, I will say when I have a craving it's usually for something weird like catfish, steak, oysters, etc... I don't really get any cravings for cookies, cakes, chips, etc... Unless I splurge on something I shouldn't have in…
