for future knowledge freeze them, in bags that zip-lock nuts, fresh and lovely!

I have done what you are trying to do...still a bit away from my goal (190) and stalled due to serious medical issues though. I will add you.

Are you resting the other 3-4 days/week? How many steps are you getting per day?

It's impossible to eat a vegetarian diet that is low or moderate in carbohydrates while getting enough protein. Many of us, for medical reasons, must eat a lower-carb diet. I can be a fat vegetarian, or I can eat some lean animal protein--the choice is that simple.

JFT, Tuesday: 1. 12,000 steps 2. under 100G carbs 3. gym workout (weights, cardio, walking) 4. dance around a bit at home

You need to be checked for fibroids--these are classic symptoms.

I'm a little over 5'10", currently 209 pounds and I wear size 8 (US) jeans. In my case it is muscle/density, being large framed AND the fact that my torso is about twice as long as average. I wear tall shirts and short or petite pants.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! This is very popular where I live, as we have a high concentration of hipsters. The surgery that you will eventual need to fix the sagging lobe holes costs $3000+. So stupid.

Focus on having a happy holiday with your younger family members. At age 62, you are entitled to make your own decisions about who you want to spend time with and which parts of your family deserve your focus. Nobody else can MAKE you eat--stress or not, you are always responsible for what you put in your mouth.

How are you spending your 1200 calories? It's hard to give you advice since your diary is closed. In general, you will feel fuller if you spend a larger portion of your calorie budget on: -protein -fat -high-fiber foods (veggies, fruits, seeds, nuts) Hydration can be a huge part of the headache puzzle, especially if you…

Actually, I think that people are being unnecessarily critical here...but there is nothing wrong with asking a question and hoping to get pointed in the right direction. Of course strangers on the internet are not a great diagnostic tool, but collective wisdom can sometimes help you decide if something is important enough…

Saturday: 1. rest 2. under 100G carbs 3. 8 freggies

I keep setting goals in my head, but forget to write them down! We are having flooding and generally horrible weather where I live and it is making getting enough steps a big challenge. I really need to be pushing myself more. My weight is doing very odd things--I've been gaining more than makes any sense. Starting to…

Joan, what a horrible thing for everyone to go through. Sending you healing thoughts.

Sounds really good, but I am wondering what churro-flavored means. :) Cinnamon?

Yes. I can't imagine that volleyball a few times a week would develop all that much muscle.

I have the highlighed and don't ever binge...on carbs, or anything else. Eating at a lower carb level certainly helps with the DESIRE to eat those things things at all, but if I want to have them, I weight out one serving and stop there. When you add up diabetes, pre-diabetes and other metabolic issues, it is quite a large…

I stared at 300 and could not really see/feel much difference myself until around 220.

Acanthosis nigricans is a sign of metabolic disorders--diabetes, insulin resistance, PCOS, etc. It isn't really spots, though...more like a darkening around skin folds. See a doctor.

Yay! I remember when you were struggling with just a few thousand a day. Someone mentioned a connection to sleep. I definitely notice that when my sleep is severely interrupted, I have a very hard time getting enough steps the next day. Normally, 10,000 is a breeze for me.

Yeah, they always round up. A lot.

Not sure what goals to set for today as I woke up with a bad migraine/nausea that doesn't seem to be going away. 1. Swim a mile 2. Under 100G carbs

Stocking sizing is whacky. I don't think that I have ever been on the chart for the kind that you can buy in the grocery store, but can somehow still fit into the smallest size. I recommend 1. Thigh-highs...so much more comfy and easy to fit 2. This company...they have good descriptions of fit and are very helpful.…

OP, which culture is this?

Oh, very interesting!

NOT correct...and it just further confuses the issue.

How long has it been since you started walking? I'm going to go against trend here and say that it is worrisome for a 31-year-old who is only 8 pounds overweight to be struggling so much with so few steps. Slowly increasing your goal and walking every day are both good ideas...but if you are still feeling really tired…

It is very hard when you start, but it gets much easier when you have done it for a while. In a week you will find it much less difficult. Once you have entered your favorite foods and recipes, all you have to do is some simple clicking. Uggg...I need to make a tres leches cake for an upcoming birthday and I am not looking…

Really? I could just about guarantee that I would throw up if I ate with that short of a window before working out.

I am so glad that jeans for women can now be found in short (S) sizes. I got really sick of overly-long jeans as my inseam is about 28" even though I am tall. It's especially awful during the cold, wet winter to drag around dirty pant legs. There is a very easy way to hem jeans with a regular sewing machine which preserves…
