  • Don't deny yourself... Work it in. I take three bites and walk away from what I want sometimes. Or find better options for the sweet and salty I crave. No day is perfect and it's all a work in progress. Good luck:)
  • I lost my sexy about two years ago... I think I left it w my x. Lol. Looking forward to getting back on track and doing something for myself again:)
  • I weigh once a week on Wednesday when I get up. I can't mentally handle daily. However after reading all this I'm considering doing some weekly or monthly measurements too:) good luck to everyone:)
  • I love my fit bit!!! It's helpful. Good luck:)
  • Honestly track even on bad days... That way you are holding yourself accountable. If it was easy we would all be thin. Keep at it and don't beat yourself up. We have all been there. Good luck to you:)
  • I would say if your not showing signs of fatigue you are probably ok. However I agree w planning out meals better. I add peanut butter to smothies or an apple to help up my calories. I try not to go under 1200 if possible. Good luck to you :)
  • I love the 10lb bag idea. 11 pounds loss is a great start!!! Be patient.... Stick to it... You will get there. Good luck:)
  • Water is key. I carry a water bottle with me everywhere. Maybe you need to switch up your exercise routine. I also agree with the last comment... Weigh everything you eat. Good luck to you on this journey:)
  • Make sure you are drinking plenty of water. It's important. I use a fit bit to track my activity and it syncs well with this app. It helps me to motivate and move more. Good luck to you and your husband both:)
  • I love my nutribullet and am on a green apple smoothie kick. I actually found the recipe in dr Phils new 20/20 diet book. (Ps.. Not doing it... Too restrictive) also downloaded a smoothie app on my phone for new ideas. I try for a least one a day to help get in nutrients I need. Good luck to everyone on this journey:)
  • I use my fit bit and it syncs to mfp nicely. That way I don't have to worry about double tracking cause it does it for me.
  • I only weigh myself once a week on Wednesday morning. I weigh myself no matter what time of the month it is. I also up my water intake that week. It helps w cramps or so I've heard. I don't panic because I know my weight will be slightly more than normal but it helps me stay on track and stay motivated. I say do what's…
  • I agree with the fit bit comment. I wear mine everyday and don't "double log" it tracks it all for me:) good luck to you
  • You didn't put the weight on over night and won't lose it that way. Not everyday is going to be easy but don't beat yourself up over it. You have to walk before you can run. My suggestion is start w a weekly goal and add on a new goal every week. Example... More water week one then add more fruits and veggies the next…
  • Starting over myself. Was down to my goal two years ago and slowly crept back up and then some. Good luck to all of you and this journey. Stay strong and motivated :)
  • Maybe she needs baby steps. Start w more water one week and slowly incorporate other healthy things into her life. Maybe help her set one weekly goal and add a new goal every week. Habits are hard to break. Maybe it's an emotional thing.... I found that it was hard for me to focus on myself when I spend most for my time…
  • Maybe try having a protein bar or shake before the gym so you don't feel so hungry after and it might help w the stress of making better decisions. I used to come out of the gym starved... The shakes seemed to help. I drink one about 45 minutes before the gym.
  • Pay attention to serving sizes on lables. Also there are ways to measure without a scales for example.... A serving of chicken should be about the size of your palm. Good luck to all on your journey:)
  • Your weight is hidden. It only posts losses. Good luck to you on your journey and thanks for wanting to share your diary. I think it helps give your friends other food ideas they might have not thought of:)
  • I agree with cutting back on the tea. Try flavoring your water w lemon or other fruits. I like to use strawberrys and blueberries in mine. Helps the water go down easier:)
  • You should be proud of all you have accomplished:) I am aware of what breakups and bad relationships can do to the soul. Just know you are worth all the time and hard work you have put into yourself. Feel free to friend request if you could use the extra support.
  • I understand where you are coming from completely. I have a hard time putting myself first as well. Wish you all the best. If you need a motivational type friend feel free to request me:)
  • My best advice is to hydrate.... Learn to love water:) I flavor mine w mint, strawberrys, and other things. It helps cause I struggle to drink enough on most days.
  • Congrats on you weight loss:) glad you found this. It's a good place to find friends and motivation
  • No kids but a demanding career that takes away almost any time to focus on myself. ( I'd imagine kids do the same in their own way ) personally I'm more of a chip/salt girl myself ... But it all equals calories right?
  • Thank you for that advice:)
  • I love my Fitbit !!! I have an iPhone and it works well with mfp. It motivates me to move and hit my daily goals. Looking for friends to help w motivation as well. Feel free to friend request.
