There's a tv programme here in the UK called secret eaters. For the people on there, they are determined that they shouldn't be gaining weight and that their gains are a complete mystery until theyre followed by private detectives. Whilst it's a bit of a daft programme, it goes to show how many people are adamant that they…

You're doing amazingly well. Such a buzz when things fit!!!
-
Congratulations to you - well done on becoming healthy.
-
Massive well done to you. You started a bit heavier than me and are niw a bit lighter but we started at the same time and i felt fairly similar to how you did back then. I hope the police application is as successful as your weight loss.

Would you say that you were apple shaped back then? If so, i have lots of questions about when did your tummy start to go down? You look so fab. You must be so proud of yourself to have lost so much and to have taken to exercise like you have.

Thank you for posting this. What an incredible story. Those trousers were hilarious in the after pictures. I fully expected to see one where theyd fallen off! Your happiness shines through.

Most amazing change for only 43lbs. Just incredible. Those thighs!! You must be over the moon. I wanna be like you.

Hi if i were you, id learn to like yourself as your target for the next few months. A slow steady weight loss with no time frames will help to make you reel more successful and therefore more likeable. Stop with the name calling too. That stuff sticks in your head and you will undermine yourself. You deserve to be happy at…

You look fabby. Id love to even look like your start photo but your legs on the second photo are amazing.

congratulations on making the mental change. I found the first few weeks the hardest as my body adjusted to the new eating regime. Im sure you'll reach your goal and be back at your sporting weight very soon. can i just mention though that 246 isn't strictly morbidly obese if youre 5'8". The definition of morbid obesity is…

I completed agree. we really need to sort out our society if this is the impact that all these ridiculous images are having.

I don't mind admitting that I tried alli. I do think it works but just not in the way it is a advertised to. It works by making you stop and think about what goes in your mouth. The consequences are unpleasant (not as bad as the prescription option) so you stay on the straight and narrow. Losing weight again this time and…

I want to be like you. Im a good way behind but we're the same age. Good luck with whatever you decide to do next.

Stunning job! Well done to you!

Hi Me too. I have girls aged 12 and 14 and the same age as you. I had over 100lbs to lose but have lost 35 odd to date. Could do with all the friends I can to help me get to my goals.

Hope you enjoy yourself over here. Youll love the history. Nothing much more to add about portions etc. in our great nation, tea solves most problems. What it doesnt solve, alcohol will. Id definitely be aware of the strong alcohol based student culture. Student life isnt great for the average persons weight.

Thats really interesting jmgj27 as i am 5'8 and have gone between 257 and 140 over the last 20 years. Again, uk sizes 250+ : 24 220-250 : 22 210-230 : 20 195-210 : 18 170-195 : 16 154-170 : 14 140-154 : 12 (@140 definitely every 12 would fit but a 10 wouldn't) No knowledge lower than 10stone! Im 30odd lbs down and no one…

me too. The uk is suffering a massive spate of dog thefts, especially working dogs and it makes me so cross and sad at the same time.

I have just about the same plan! 104lbs in 52 weeks, started 10th jan 2015. I have lost 32lbs so far but 17 was in the first two weeks and after that, its been more gradual. I hope that things continue to go so well for you. Keep us updated! 2015 is our year :)

http://www.lessbounce.com/clothing-shapewear/shock-absorber-ultimate-body-support-full-length-tights_ct549pd491.htm Wow when you know the word compression the world of the internet opens right up before you! sometimes you've just got to know the word to google! found the above which look cracking (apart from the obscene…

I would guess that you feel like there is a cloud over your head because your doctor wont acknowledge your success. My father's diabetes has been just awful for him. Hes now in his 80s, can barely feel his feet and his eyes have regularly needed laser surgery to control bleeds that have nearly blinded him. If he was…

My sister is like this with my brother in law who must have been approaching 25 stone (approx 350lbs). I am incredibly impressed with his dedication to getting it off but all she can do is whinge and moan about it. My sister is morbidly obese too. The problem's in her. She has a victim mentality that the worlds against…

Looking forward to following in your footsteps. You've done an amazing job, you must be so pleased and extra clothes shopping won't be too much of a chore!! You really do look amazing

When I love about mfp is that people really do change their lives and themselves here. So many weight loss organisations seem to be about talking a good stoey without actually doing anything about it. It is so helpful to a person midway through the process. Thanks to all tge amazing people who put their puctures up. You…

Wow, you are my hero. I stafted at about the same weight and want to get to the same place. Although I don't have MS, i can feel the obesity diseases snapping at my toes and know this is one of my last chances to sort myself out. Thank you for posting this, it helps so much. You look just amazing

It's fab the way your ring has moved up a finger. Beautiful dress in both photos! Massive congratulations to you

You can lose weight yourself, with or without orlistat. Id given up too and had wondered whether to go down the surgical route but I saw a tv programme with a bariatric surgeon (shaw somers from essex) who reckoned that the effect of surgery only keeps weight off for 3 or 4 years. After that, you've got to use dieting and…

Wow what a fantastic achievement. You must be over the moon. Bet your doctor was pleased too!
