I find that cinnamon toast crunch cereal is enough for me when I want something sweet. I have a serving of that and 3oz of 1% milk.

I sound like a broken record, but I have BED so I know a thing or two about going over my calories. You just have to start fresh the next day and try and do your best.

I have a very athletic friend with PCOS who teaches classes at her gym and the YMCA. She is very fit and toned, so PCOS is not a diet death sentence. You just have to keep tweaking your calories until you find a level where you can lose weight.

I've been on my journey for over two years and I have BED, so yeah, I cheat. However, I am aware of what I am doing to my body and luckily I haven't gained too much weight since hitting my goal.

Hey, I've logged in over two years now and know a thing or two about weight loss. You can add me if you like. Anyone for that matter. I can always use friends.

How about those people who eat keto or vegan and think calories don't matter? It always irks me when I see someone saying that.

Muscle does not weigh more than fat. It's like saying a pound of feathers weighs less than a pound of metal. Muscle takes up less space than fat per pound.

I lost 99.2 pounds in 6 months on a doctor supervised diet with no pills and no surgery. I've had no complications or problem with excess skin. It can be done, but do not do it on your own. You need a very large deficit, much larger than is healthy. I had to lose it fast because I was headed on a path towards quick death.…

I am 36 and went from 340 to 180 and had very minimal excess skin. It may be genetic or whatever, but I do drink a lot of water.

I have BED and I can easily eat upwards of 8k calories a day if it's bad. You just have to learn to forgive yourself and move on. Don't worry about what weight you may have gained because 1200 calories is roughly 1/3 of a pound. In the grand scheme of things, that's really nothing to worry about.

I tend to get around 8-9 hours a night. I have insomnia, but I am medicated for it so I do sleep pretty well. I have noticed that when I don't sleep well, I am more stressed which can lead to water retention and stress eating. This is only my personal experience.

I have BED and I have gained about 40 pounds last year. I've struggled with it most of my life. I would suggest speaking with a therapist or psychiatrist. They can help you with either behavior modification or even medicine if they believe you need it. BED is nothing to mess around with and there is nothing wrong with at…

In your profile picture you look pretty slim to me. Assuming you have your weight loss set at .5 pounds per week, and eat whatever on the weekends, that's 5 days of 250 calorie deficits, or 1250 calories burned throughout those five days. All you would have to do is eat a 1250 calorie surplus in those two days to undo all…

Not a woman, but for some perspective I started at 340 pounds wearing a 44" waist and a 3xl shirt, which was tight. When I got down to about 260, I was still wearing the same size clothes. However, from around 260 to 220 I went from a 44" waist to a 34", and a 3XL shirt to a 1x. Going from 220 to 180 I went from an XL…

For a lot of people, the projections do not match real life loss. For me, I have always exceeded the projections, but that is just me and everyone is different.

The other day I ate a package of double stuff oreos in about 30 minutes. 2250 calorie. It just got worse after that.

To lose weight you need a calorie deficit. To add muscle you need a calorie surplus. You need a recomp. Eat at or close to maintenance and focus on heavy lifting.
-
To the poster who said you don't lose much weight without exercise. I lost 160 pounds in less than 9 months without exercise. Calorie deficit only. You don't know what you are talking about.

I am tall so without exercise, with a normal BMI, I can lose 2 pounds per week with over 1500 calories. Right now my TDEE is 2600, I am only about ten pounds overweight.

I hate it too. Especially all of the comments about being too thin or looking anorexic. What the heck. I was 25 pounds above being considered underweight. I actually wanted to lose more. I started telling them my doctor is proud of me and says I am healthy and it's safe to lose more weight. I am not telling anyone this…

I started on January 1st of 2015. My doctor told me to eat 1300 calories, so I did. I did not exercise as I have MS and severe fatigue and pain. By the middle of August of the same year I weighed 180. I used a food scale and measured everything I could to the gram. I did not have surgery and I did not take anything to help…

I lost 160 pounds in 8.5 months with just restricting calories. No surgery involved. I have gained some weight last year which I plan on losing this year. My binge eating got out of control. I still know how to lose weight and I can do it again, but it's going to be harder and slower this time. I am a bit depressed about…

I lost 160 pounds in 2015 with just a calorie deficit. I did not have surgery either. I wish I was able to exercise, as I was left skinny fat with a 22 BMI.

I don't read my friends diaries. What they eat is their business. I have my diary open to friends, they can see every bad day I have.
-
I have binge eating disorder, and for me to remember how much I ate when I weighed 340 pounds, it is scary. I have my binge eating mostly under control, but I know at any time I could go back to old habits and gain it all back.
-
I gained about 10 pounds over Christmas, down 7 already. I figured I gained 2-3 pounds. That's easily undone in a week, for me at least.
-
I've drank diet soda for over 20 years. I drank probably close to two 2-liters a day while I lost 160 pounds. I've never had problems with health or losing weight. For some people they may cause sugar cravings, or have a sensitivity to the artificial sweeteners, but for me, no problems at all. I can easily drink a 12-pack…

As everyone has said, it's all about calories. I lost 160 pounds in a bit less than 9 months, going from 340 to 180 just by counting and restricting calories. I did not exercise, though it is good for your body.

Search Google for "Bariatric surgery 3 week stall".

There is nothing wrong with a little cellulite. I think it's cute and shows that you are a normal person with a healthy body. Nothing is wrong with you.
