Hi I'm also type 2 diabetic. Would like to be friends. I'm 32 days in and down 13 lbs. my doctor took me off insulin and I'm thrilled. I am in 2 pills for DM but now having issues with low blood sugars. Will be talking with MD on Monday.

Quick update: he's off until Monday. Covering APRN said to stop the kombiglyze until I can talk with him on Monday. Will be interesting to see what he thinks. As of today my blood sugar has been in the 88-95 range. It's only been ,2 days and a half so we' ll see.

At work, many of the elderly patients are put on Remeron to increase their appetite hence gain weight. Bottom line, if a medication is needed and it's helping that's more important. Just have to work a little harder on fighting the "weight gain effect".
