Your only restrictions should be portion size. I look in the fridge and see endless possibility, only limited by my calories. I'm oddly excited by the prospect of each new day because I love making my treats fit

Forgot to add, "W00t, W00t!"

Congrats! That's awesome!

You were very pretty before, but your after is stunning. You look so healthy and vibrant - like a completely different person. Congratulations on your amazing success!

Congratulations! Your hard work is paying off in a big way. You look amazing!

Nursing naturally burns around 500 per day, especially in the beginning (up to 6 months, when baby starts eating solids). Set my fitness pal to lose .5 pound per week, and exercise to burn calories. Do not restrict your calories past 1700 or you run the risk of cutting your milk supply way down. This method will have you…

Saying, "act like an adult" to an adult, who is being honest and asking for help, is extraordinarily condescending. OP, save most of your calories for your evenings or eat on the low end of your calories on days you're not going out and enjoy yourself when you go out. Or earn more calories through exercise. Deprivation…

Generally speaking, 1800 calories is the recommendation regarding exclusive breastfeeding. If you go too far below that, you run the risk of slashing your milk supply. So you are likely burning 300 - 500 calories each day just nursing. So exercise with an aim to burn 250 calories and you should easily lose 1.5 lbs each…

That's super! Great progress

And before I bought weights, I used 16oz cans of beans lol. Also, a gallon jug filled with sand makes an inexpensive kettlebell. If you decide to buy weights, definitely invest in a barbell set over dumbbells. There's a $50 100lb set on Amazon. Lifting weights is transforming my body in a way cardio never has. I still do…

Jump rope (burns a lot of calories), jumping jacks intervals (30 seconds as fast as you can, 40 seconds rest, repeat for 20 minutes), walking with your kids after supper, body weight intervals (pushups, planks, burpees and mountain climbers 30 seconds as hard as you can push yourself, 40 seconds rest). These are all…

Start the way you want to finish. If you can't live without having ice cream a few times a week or a daily treat, keep that in mind when planning your calories. Reduce calories by 250 per day (so if you are at 2000 per day to maintain, eat 1750 per day) and exercise off the remaining 250. That's a 1 lb per week loss. Drink…

That's awesome! Your hard work and commitment are paying off!

Try to look at the weight you need to lose in 10 lb increments. Don't set any food as off-limits but eat a portion of that food, and really enjoy it. In the beginning, keeping my calories at maintenance and walking/recumbent biking the 500 calories away each day was easier than cutting my calories drastically. Others…

So you could lose 2 lbs per week, simply nursing and keeping calories at 1800 with (optional) gentle exercise. I went from 231 to 191 doing just nursing and 1850 calories. Gained a lot of it back due to a medication I was taking to help my supply. Back down again to 185. Good luck on your journey ☺

Typically it is recommended not to restrict calories below 1800 while nursing. I did this and was able to maintain my supply. Exercise away your calories and remember that nursing, especially exclusive nursing, burns roughly 500 calories per day.

He has no right to be criticising what you eat. Is he a certified nutritionist/dietician? If you need or want that advice, you'll pay for a professional to advise you. Your boyfriend is not being supportive, he's being cruel and controlling. You just brought a new life into this world. Your body needs to be nurtured for…

Also, don't go below the calories your body needs to maintain basic bodily functions. For me this is 1560. I want to keep my muscle. Eat what your body requires, and exercise away the calories you need to lose the weight. I try to burn 1000 per day on my stationary bike, whilst watching tv as my son is napping. I like my…

When I wanted to lose that amount of weight in 6 weeks, I used the "Body for Life" book. Weights 3 days a week, cardio intervals 3 days a week and one treat day (your free/rest day). I made full use of my treat day, which motivated me to work out much harder. At the end of 6 weeks, I went from 177 lbs to 154 lbs. I think…

It sounds like serious fun! I wish I could see your pics, but they aren't showing up.

I eat 4 meals a day (my son is 27 months and still nursing). I've found that if I plan what I'm going to eat the next day, it goes much more smoothly. I rotate meals, also. •Fried breakfast potatoes and eggs with sliced apple and coffee/tea. •Chicken wrap with bacon, lettuce and tomato. •Beans and eggs. •Yogurt with…

Knees hurt a lot less. Don't get winded going up the stairs. Shoes fit more comfortably. My bum hurts when I sit now (exercise bike kills!). My back doesn't hurt when I sleep on my back, anymore. I'm colder. Much! My biggest clothes are still fitting - not sure why. I started at 231 and I'm now 185 (still have 40 lbs to…

Me, too. It's frustrating as heck. I'm trying a new tactic this week. I'm not ordering take-away, instead I'm going to make what I'm craving at home. If I don't want it enough to make it myself, then I won't get to have that treat. I am allowing myself one treat meal a week, but keeping my calories inside 2000 on that day…

38 year old mum of 5 (21, 17, 15, 12 and 2 years). I have another 40 or so pounds to lose (down from 231 to 185.6). Add me, too, please! I definitely have times of lagging motivation (every Friday night, in fact!).

I use nowloss.com to figure out my calorie needs, and then deduct 500 from that # to lose weight. It works. The sweet cravings hit me once a month also. I pick out one thing and have one portion each night, at the end of the day. I look forward to it all day. This week was pumpkin gelato

You look fabulous! Your face has gorgeous bone structure; very beautiful. Ignore stupid comments from jealous, threatened ignorant people, even if they are family. Your legs look great!
