Chronic insomniac here. Average 3-6hrs per night depending how i go. Exercise 6 days per week at high intensity for an hour, sometimes more. I decided a long time ago the insomniac monster inside me will not stop me achieving my exercise goals and enjoyment in physical challenges

I absolutely could not stick to 1200 when I tried that. but i do a lot of exercise so that might account for it.

No i would not give up coffee. Just wouldn't do that to myself. I love it too much

I think try one day sticking to your numbers. Just one day. See what it's like, see how you feel. When you reach your numbers after dinner, take yourself to bed witha good book or some motivational reading. Relax the next day, eat as you please, then try the following day to stick to your numbers. Hit your numbers every…

I am 5 ft 3 inches. I'm 38 years old and weigh 145, but want to get to 130. MFP wanted me to follow 1200 ca/day. I was doing it for like 40 days now, but I got really sick and I think it is because my immune system was low because I needed more "fuel". I went on the community forum here and everyone said that 1200 was way…

Mfp first gave me 1200 cals per day, to lose .5kg per week. I'm 5.3 so not that tall either. I felt starving all the time and would often feel dizzy, faint and very irritable. Cravings and hunger aplenty. Summoning the energy to work out was difficult, despite eating back all my calories for exercise. I could last 10 days…

Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Tear a large square of tinfoil, place chicken breast on it and season both sides, wrap up snugly. Place seasoned chicken wrapped in tinfoil in baking dish. Bake for 30 mins. Ideally remove from oven when almost cooked and rest for 5-10MINS. Always tender, super easy, great for when you really…

Celiac disease for me. I hadn't realised it was such a common struggle for people with autoimmune diseases to lose weight, more so than people who are unafflicted. I just thought my hormones were to blame and it was just me!

I'm 5.3, 62kg and goal weight is 58-60kg. My first mfp goal to lose 1/2kg p/wk was in the 1200's, to lose .5kg per week. Too low to fuel my workouts, 6-8hrs pr/wk vigorous/strenuous les mills gym sessions, pump, combat, attack and one weights workout per week. I absolutely love working out and give it my all. I'm also a…

Staying on track after a surplus in calories last night after a valentine's day dinner and treats at the movies. Knowing that it's ok to go over the cals sometimes, is not a failure that means i should give up, and that it's worth the effort of keeping going.
