I find it so much easier to breathe running in a light rain! Just wanted to drop some encouragement. I just started running in December, so I’m not exactly a veteran, but to me it sounds like you’ve picked a great way to progress! Those slow steady runs are exactly what I aim for and are how I increase my distance. 😊

My original goal was to drop from 152 to 142 by June 2nd. I’m currently at 147 with 6 weeks left to go, but I’m at a point where I’m slowing my weight loss to make sure I have energy for my training, so I’ll probably take a little longer than I had hoped. You only just started increasing your running, right? You can retain a lot of water when you start a new exercise or increase the amount of a familiar exercise. My loss should be a lot slower now, think I have my calorie range figured out and I have to fuel my running now because I decided to start training for distance running. 😱🤪🤣 I only have 17 pounds to go now though so I’m really okay with slowing down now, wanna keep the muscle I have. 👍🏻

I’m officially “graduated” I guess. I did see a 150+ weight on the scale last week, but I also saw a 145 (that was after an 8 mile run though lol) - I seem to be about 147 most mornings so I’m counting myself into the 140s! Did I exercise? Yes, ran 8 miles before I started cooking this morning. Also walked off some of the food bloat with a friend this evening (7 miles). In calories? Nooooo. I’m even about 500 calories over for the week, but that should still translate to a small loss. Tracked? Some guesstimating but nothing for sure.

Day 111 - 121.24 miles I decided to aim for a 7 mile run today to test if I’m prepared to start half marathon training and went to 8 miles, so looks like I’ll be pushing to hit that 13 mile mark now. 😁
