Well that's obviously not what I meant, I was just trying to be encouraging.

At least you worked out, I've been terribly sick this whole week and hating myself because I can't work out lol. You just have to accept it, move on, and know that you'll do better next time. And if all else fails, just do a burpee lol . ~ Kris

I've actually been thinking about doing this, so I'm interested to see how others have benefited from it as well.

Yeah, this is definitely me.

Well, it depends on the workout for me. If I'm running in the park (usually during the spring or summer when they have the splash pad on), my thought process goes like this: "Oh, YAY! the waters on!" *Happy Dance* as my warm up. "No Tyson (my dog) you can't go run around on the splash pad." as he pulls me towards the…

Ok, well the good news is I CAN BREATH!!! without blowing snot bubbles (that actually happened yesterday, gross I know), but the bad news is that my voice has completely gone out so I can't talk today. And the funny thing is is part of my job is answering the phones and greeting people when they enter the office, well not…

4 months in and 13 lbs down.

I alternate between wearing my Puma Tazon 5 NM's and Vibram Seeya LS's, I love them both though.

Morning everyone, I had a nice active weekend, but now I'm feeling a little under the weather today. My husband thought the pollen was making his allergies act up, well turns out it was sinus congestion and a sore throat, and now I have it too (Ain't it funny how that works out?). I'm going to take it easy until I get…

I got 70%, I would have gotten 80% but those darn potato chips lol (I didn't read the full post just clicked the link...silly me). I know my activity tracker isn't as accurate as I'd like it to be, but I don't' think mine overestimates my sleep since I turn 'sleep mode' on and off manually. Of course I also don't know how…

Though we all have different journeys and we will all take different paths to reach our goals, they are initially the same. It will take time and patience, commitment and dedication to reach our goals. Sometimes we will fall along the way but will also pick ourselves back up as many times as it takes. Motivation, support,…

Wine is my go to as well.

This morning I did a 12min full body calisthenics workout and tonight my husband and I are going to hike my summit climbing stand about 3 miles out in the woods (so I can do another full body workout climbing a tree) so we can roost a turkey tonight.

Hi, I'm 5'0" as well, currently weigh 108 lbs. I started weight/strength training (while still running 3 days a week) almost a month ago and I'm seeing some pretty nice results. Like the others have said, if you lift (no matter how heavy) you're not going to look like those body builder types unless you make some serious…

My initial goal is strength and some muscle. I keep up with most of my goals on here, like my weight and measurements. I started out with losing weight as my main focus and the closer I got to my "ideal" weight the more I incorporated strength and weight training into my routine. I have a few motivating quotes posted in my…

Thanks you guys. Susan, I never regret a good time spent with family and friends. It sounds like you had a good time and that's always worth it.

5'0" 108 lb, eating between 1350-1500 depending on my workouts for the day, trying to eat close to maintenance so I can recomp (I'm still playing with my calories though, so I might be upping them soon). I exercise 6 days a week up to 1hr. each day, cardio three days a week and strength training the other three, and a…

If it were me, I would get the adjustable dumbbells because I already have a pair of running/workout shoes that I love and fit my feet perfectly. But I agree with @joleneee421, that you should probably go with getting running/workout shoes fitted specifically for you. The shoes that you wear while working out or running…

I have a pretty nice booty that I'm proud of (that you squats )and a chest that refuses to allow me to wear a size small any type of top lol, but I'm ok with that.

Morning, There is no shame in taking things lighter due to your T.O.M., a bike ride sounds like it would be nice. Makes me excited for this weekend. So far my day is pretty normal, I woke up, ate breakfast, worked out, and pack my snacks for work. I'm going grocery shopping tonight and I have a very long list. Going to try…

The best program is one that you enjoy and know that you can stick with as a lifestyle. It will reflect your goals, whatever they may be, and will change as your golas do. You should choose a program you can be consistent with and that allows for plenty of recovery days. ~ Kris

Morning, Took a rest yesterday, my legs were really sore, so I cleaned the house instead. Did a circuit this mornings, and tonight I might do a 30 min. circuit or if my legs aren't as sore I'm going to try and go for a run, since I missed out on yesterdays. Now that I think about it I could do a short run/walk (5-10mins)…

Different people are going to burn at different rates, depending on weight and height. A 45-60 minute zumba session is only going to burn 400-600 calories for me because I'm such a small person (I'm 5'0" & 113#), but I can go for a 30min. run and burn the same amount of calories easily. Personally I'd go with the smaller…
