5 lbs is a nice loss in a few weeks! 1 - 2 lbs a week is healthy loss, so you're doing great! It's pretty clear now that I won't make my Labor Day weight loss goal, but that's ok. That was July for me, full of visits from family and way too much food and drinks. Luckily I didn't gain, but only lost 1 lb the whole month! Sometimes life just happens, huh?

It was a tough day, I ended up icing then using a heating pad. It's a little better this morning. I did get 8 hours of sleep last night which is a lot for me! More low-impact cardio today, then hopefully tomorrow I'll feel good enough to get a dumbbell workout done. I admire you for sticking to 1500 or less calories a day.…

I 'm going on a Labor Day trip to visit my best friend of over 27 years. We haven't seen each other in almost a year. I've lost about 25 lbs since then and my mini goal is to lose a few more before the trip.
