I use garlic and onion powder generously, in almost everything I cook. As for herbs, if you are using dried add way more then you normally would. I love Italian herb seasonings. Crushed red pepper, and ground chipotle peppers also add a lot of great flavors. Lemon juice, lime juice and balsamic vinegar are some other good…

I am on prescription and OTC allergy meds for allergies actually. I've been wanting to get allergy shots and testing as well as it's a big contributor to my asthma, but I have been waiting for a while because that will be an expensive venture. The allergy meds control the daily attacks pretty well, but does nothing to…

To shave a few seconds off my mile each time I run on the treadmill. Longer term is run a whole mile without stopping or having to walk.

Thank you. I just gotta keep it going.

Running/ Jogging without stopping. For a whole mile, and then some.

This makes me feel better, lol. I was kind of thinking it was all in my head. I think my mistake yesterday was waiting too long to eat, and not enough protein for b-fast. I usually eat dinner after words, so protein after is good to go. It's the next day especially the last two days that the hunger monster has been…

Chocolate tea, like Yogi's Mayan Chocolate spice is a good alternative too. 0 calories, unless you add a little creamer to it.

I don't get it regularly like I should being at risk (asthma). I've never actually had influenza, or if I did it was very mild and acted more like a cold. If it was the flu, it wasn't severe enough to display it's hallmark characteristics like body aches and a fever. But I would get colds so bad I had to take my inhaler…

I'm not sure about constipation, but they seem to get your stomach back in balance. What they do is replace the good bacteria in your gut, which helps to break down your food and aid in digestion. I either take them after finishing a round of antibiotics from being sick, or take them when I am having bloating and…

Yeah, I had 1tbs of garlic powder turn into 4tbs of garlic powder at 1500ish calories! I was wondering why my calorie content looked so high for my recipie, then I saw that. lol. :D

I always try to cook extra at dinner, and use the leftovers for lunch the next day.

I have a lifetrak core. It's the most basic model, but counts steps, has a heart rate monitor and "work out mode" which counts your calories. Pro's: Cheap (I think I paid 45 for it), easy to track heart rate during workout, pedometer appears to be accurate, you can also view your weekly progress for your steps. Battery…

I just thought of one that I forgot about. For instant oatmeal, I take half a flavored packet, and half a plain packet. it shaves off a few calories(10 or so), and cuts the sugars in half. I find I don't really miss the extra sweetness.

This gives me some inspiration . Thanks guys!

I am horrible at consistently logging... but as a background, If cooking at home, I eat a lot of quick to cook dinners. Like tuna and pasta, spaghetti, or just steak and veggies/ and or rice. Just general family cooking I suppose? If going out, it's cheeseburgers, Chinese or Mexican food. I guess I was just looking for…

We eat a ton of venison in our house. Pretty much anything you can use beef for, you can use venison for. As others have said, since it is so lean, be sure to oil your pan when cooking it, and cook until the pink just starts to brown to avoid over cooking. I think it tastes best rare to medium rare, but I know a lot of…

Also, you may try to swap your 2nd cup of coffee out for a cup of very flavorful black tea, if you feel you need the extra caffeine boost, double up on your tea bags per cup. Some suggestions for teas are black chia, constant comment, earl grey, etc. YOGI Makes a bunch of different teas with a ton of different flavors some…

I like to use about 1/4 c of unsweetened almond milk with about a tsp. of stevia, or a tbs. of flavored creamer (per 20oz cup) . the almond milk has good flavor, and at 40 cal. a cup cuts the calories a good bit. some other ways to add a good bit of flavor to your coffee without many calories are to add spices to your…
