Your best bet would be vodka and diet soda or diet juice. My go to last year was skinny cosmo's. Vodka, triple sec, and diet cranberry juice. I believe they came in to be about 150 calories a pop. You could pre-mix a pitcher to take with you if this is a byob thing. Otherwise for things you literally just have to bring and…

This. If I tell myself "I'm not allowed to eat that." I'll eventually have a mini binge whenever I get ahold of that. But if I tell myself "I'm not eating that right now, maybe later" I wont be as likely to binge on it. It's a total mental game, but it helps me greatly to know I'm allowed to eat the junky thing, but not…

Half of us are sharing past or planned indulgences anyways.

I'm not a fan of going to the gym for hours on end either. Heck it's hard for me to even find the time and motivation to go for just half an hour, and my gym is across the highway from me. So I just did 15-30 minute youtube workouts, or workouts from a fitness app. Whatever I felt I had the time and energy for. I actually…

I think doctors prescribing it where opioids is not needed is somewhat part of the problem. A couple of real life examples: My husband had to go to the ER for a laceration (work injury, so he had to go). They ended up just cleaning the wound and bandaging him up (no stitches). They sent him home with a script for vicodin.…

This made me giggle!  This is totally how I feel when the app tells me this stuff. "You've exceeded your sugar goal today." Yeah, and?

*comes out of lurking* Yeah it's been kind of slow around these parts! Not much for me to confess except I've been struggling to stay on top of purposeful excersise. I still do stuff to keep my NEAT up though, and get out and hike or swim when I can. This summer has been one of the busiest ones I've had in a while! Oh- and…

So it's occurred to me that I do a fairly "strange" thing with food. I tend to have snack foods as an actual meal a lot. I mean, I guess it's not weird around here. But, around my circle of family and friends, I don't know many that will have a bag of popcorn for breakfast. Or Ice cream for lunch. Or chips and dip for…

If it's bread you need to avoid, and not wheat, gluten, or carbs, tortilla wraps would be a good option too. Either as pinwheels, or as a vessel for sandwich stuff.

It had to do with the preparation or seasioning process(don't remember which). It was called "deviling.

I just peel and eat mine like an orange... Maybe I'm wierd, but I am far too impatient to fiddle with cutting it in half, and attempting to scoop out the segments. Or buying a special spoon meant for grapefruit. Aint nobody got time fo' dat!

If I understand you properly, you will be on vacation soon. You will be staying at home, but venturing out during the day for activities, and returning home at night. Assuming this is correct and assuming you are fishing for "healthier" (less calorie dense) foods... Anything you can meal prep and put in a cooler with ice…

I mean I like meat and cheese as much as the next person. But it doesn't sound healthy or sustainable. Supposedly people can get thier micronutrients from bone broth and such, but I find it hard to believe nutritional deficiancies wont creep up along the way. I mean I guess if it really worked for you as a lifetime WOE,…

-pasta with meat and cream sauce. Like beef stroganoff.. sans mushrooms and onions I guess? -red beans and rice but no onions, tomatos, or peppers. -chicken noodle soup- chicken, broth, and noodles only. -beef and noodles- beef, broth, and noodles only. -cheesey grits and eggs -omlette with cheese, and ham, sausage or…

Check Pinterest. There are tons of ideas and recipies for every WOE(way of eating) out there. Then you can save them and make a sort of meal/diet plan!

This: With extra butter spread on, and then warmed up a bit....

Tacos. Quick, easy, filling. And easily fits into my goals for the day. If I can't afford the taco shells then taco salad is a great alternative. Also I keep chicken patties on hand. I'll bake em up, and then dice them over salad fixing. Super fast and easy.

Well, just a bunch of little stuff I guess. When I started I was overweight heading towards obese. So I counted calories and macros to get an idea of where I needed to be in terms of portions that wouldn't overfeed me. So it morphed into things like: -No seconds at dinner- instead I'll just take a bite out of the pan to…

I'm not under 5'0, but am 5'3 which is techically still petite. (I think?) Age- 31 My activity level is somewhere between sedentary and lightly active? I actually just looked at my 1 year average on my fitbit for calories out. And it says my average output for the year is 1736. And I would say that's about right. I tend to…

I've been really happy with the ones I've bought from thevahl.com Lots of fun prints to choose from. I haven't tried thier athletic leggings, but thier butter soft leggins have been great. Very very stretchy- You could do anything in them.

This: With copious amounts of garlic butter sauce! The one I ate last night was a calzone with ribeye steak, peppers, onions, cheese, and a horseradish cheese sauce. *Drool* .

I shower mostly once a day. Every once in a while I'll skip a day like if out camping or I'm just too tired and go to bed early. (Shower at night). If that's the case though I usually will do a hobo bath at least. I don't wanna unwittingly be the stinky person,

I try to use a "hunger scale" to determine if I am genuinly hungry, just bored, or if it's just habitual hunger. Basically it's a scale of 1-10. 1 being ravenous, starving, willing to eat anything that is put in front of me as soon as possible. 10 being so stuffed I feel ill. I try to avoid waiting until I get to a 1 to…

I feel like CBD is the new coconut oil. A few years from now we'll be reading about how bad it is for us and how much it doesn't actually cure. Or maybe they'll just come out with CBD coconut oil as the super health supplement of 2020.

For his calorie counts is he hitting his calorie goal every day? What does his weekly average look like? Is it possible that a couple of "over" days are impacting his overall CI part of the equation? Also, like you had mentioned maybe it's time to start verifying packaged foods. Maybe a day or two being over goal, and then…

I like this concept. I haven't seen any like that before myself. I do really like the ones where stuff is printed on the fabric itself. No itchy tags to mess with!

One can be intolerant to sucralose, or aspertame or what have you just as one could be intolerant to gluten, or soy, or dairy or any other food. Even though all of the above listed foods are safe for general consumption. Doesn't mean it might not make certain individuals feel bad physically. My N=1- My husband is…

Just fit in anything you dont have to chew into your calorie goals. Since "healthy" is a subjective term I'm going to go with nutritionally balanced. Things that help you hit your macros and calorie goals. Protiens- yogurt, cottage cheese, tuna, ground meat, ice cream, milk, eggs, fish. Fiber- oatmeal, adding flax or chia…
